"Baseball is the most admirable pastime in the world...a keen combination of wit, intelligence and muscle....It develops the mind, establishes discipline and gives to those who take part in it sound bodies, clear heads and a better sense of life."
--John McGraw, New York Giants Manager, 1913 World Series
