Athens International B-BQ Day............This Saturday
On May 17th, Athens International will be hosting a huge day of baseball and softball. Elberton, Oglethorpe, and Athens National League (Holland Park), will be coming to Satterfield Park with their baseball/softball teams. Prestige Foods will be catering the event. They will be serving B-BQ Pork, Baked Beans, Chips and Banana Pudding. The results of the ticket sales and X-Box winner, will be announced on this day as well. We look forward to seeing you there.
City Tournament May 27-June 2
Athens International Little League(Satterfield Park) and Athens Little League(Holland Park) will be playing in a single elimination tournament to determine a City Champion. All Major League Teams(10-12 yr. old) from both sides of town will be eligible to play. Games will be played at both Satterfield and Holland Park. The Championship Game is scheduled to be at Satterfield Park, unless there are no teams from Satterfield in the game. I will post a schedule as soon as it is available.
All-Star Forms Available
All-Star forms are now available. They are accessible from handout link under the communication box. 12 Players are selected for All-Stars in each age group (reserve players may be selected in case of illness or injury). A player that turns in a form is not guaranteed a spot on the final roster. All forms should be signed and turned in by team managers as soon as possible.

All selected players will be contacted a couple of weeks after the season has ended. All-Star practices will begin on June 15th for both Minor and Major leagues. Minor League All-Star (9-10 yr. old) Tournament will be held in Elberton starting on Thursday, June 26th. The Major League All-Star (11-12 yr. old) Tournament will be held in Washington-Wilkes starting on Saturday, July 5th. Junior League All-Star(13-14 yr. old) Tournament will be held in Master City(Augusta) starting on Friday, June 27th.

Special thanks to ACC Leisure and all the parents that volunteered on workday at Satterfield Park. We installed new batting cages, cleaned the park, set up the concession stand, etc..... Thank you again to all the parents and ACC leisure for helping our park a better place to play the great sport of baseball and softball.
