About The Cobras…
The Cecil County Cobras are a 14u select travel baseball team. Our mission is simple...Play hard, Display good sportsmanship, and Play together as a TEAM! The Cobras will play a limited league schedule in the spring and early summer of 2008 and our goal will be to participate in 6—8 weekend tournaments throughout the year. The Cobras compiled a season record of 27-7-1 in 2007 playing as a 13u team. The team competed in five weekend tournaments traveling to Olney, Aberdeen, Joppatown, and Prince Frederick Md and Georgetown De.
The Cobras have added some potent venom and are eager to compete in 2008!

The Cobras lost to the Southern Maryland Tigers in the Semi Finals

Cobras Finish Strong In Walk The Plank Tourney

The Cobras finished bracket play with a record of 1-1-1 in the Walk The Plank Tourney in Olney, Maryland over Memorial Day weekend. All game scores and final standings can be found at www.olneybaseball.com.
Cobras Pool Play Schedule:
Saturday, May 26 @ 8:30am vs. Burtonsville Thunder (Tie 6 - 6)
Saturday, May 26 @ 1:00pm vs. Express NLB (Va) (Lost 10 - 0)
Sunday, May 27 @ 3:15 vs. WHC Renegades (Md) (Won 13 - 3)
The 13/14u division consisted of four brackets of four teams each.
Bracket winners advanced to the playoffs on Monday, May 28th.
In the Semifinals, Burtonsville Thunder defeated Fallston Cougars and the Catonsville Cubs defeated the Maryland Orioles.
The Cubs went on to defeat the Thunder in the finals.
Of the 16 teams in the 13 / 14u division, the Cobras finished 7th overall and higher than any other 13u team. Twelve of the sixteen teams were 14u.
