CHJAAF general elections will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd from 6:15-8:15p.m. at the main entrance of Chino Hills Community Park.
All members with fully paid registration (and no outstanding equipment fees), parents and/or guardians
of active players and/or cheerleaders of the CHJAAF and Cheer program will be afforded voting rights in annual elections.

The Bulldogs went 6-1 this week.
CONGRATS to our JM, JPW 1, Micro 2 , JPW 2, who are on a winning streak with no losses!
JPW 3 and PW1 are back on track and Micro 1 is ready for a comeback.
Our PW2, PW3 and Midget teams had byes and are ready to get back on the field.
Let’s give a shout out to our cheerleaders who provide loads of support for our boys!

Tough week but CONGRATS to our JM, JPW 1, Micro 2 , JPW 2, PW 2 and PW 3 on staying undefeated!
There were some close games where we fell short, but we will bounce back!

Our Bulldogs season begins this week!
Our practices are now Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for the rest of the season.
Our first games are this Saturday.
This week will be a busy one as we prepare for our season opener with plenty of excitement!
SEASON KICK OFF and BEEF RAFFLE!
Our Season Kick Off is this Thursday, September 8th at 7:50pm!
Join us at the entrance to Field 4 at for the raffle and team kickoff potluck.
Turn in your raffle tickets! Remember a portion of the money goes directly to your team! CHJAAF will raffle off the following prizes:
A Side of beef and a freezer

For the most tickets sold, and the winning ticket sold by a player or cheerleader they will win a prize too. Each will receive a gift card.
The potluck will be done by team.

First Day of Practice July 25th
We are just one week away from our first day of practice! We are excited to begin.
Practice will begin Monday, July 25th at Chino Hills Community Park and starts at 6pm. Practice the month of August is Monday through Friday.
Parents, please plan to arrive early to check your football player and or cheerleader in.
Check in will begin at 5:15pm. (Check in is located at the main field entrance of the park.)
The first week of practice all football players will wear the following:

CHECK IN:
IF YOU HAVE PAID ALL FEES AND TURNED IN YOUR PHYSICAL:
You will check in to the left side of the main entrance of the park. There will be signs and you should line up according to the signage indicating the alphabet of your player’s last name. Upon check in your football player will receive a release indicating they have checked in and the field on which they will condition.
IF YOU NEED TO TURN IN A PHYSICAL OR HAVE A BALANCE DUE:
You will line up with your football player(s) to the right of the main entrance. There will be only one (1) line. You will need to turn in your physical form and pay any monies due. Once the physical is verified and upon completion of check in, your football player will be given a release to be allowed on the field that they will do their conditioning on.
Note: Physicals will not be accepted unless on the conference approved form or from Kaiser Hospital.
Fair warning: This will be a lengthy line. Your football player will NOT be credited time for standing in line. Practice begins at 6pm and their time begins once they are on the field. All time missed must be made up in 15 minute increments.
Once again, check in will open at 5:15pm.

We have been informed that Riddell will be unable to ship our helmets and shouler pads we sent for recertification back to us before July 22nd. They hope to have it to us the week of the 25th.

We are ready for the 2022 season! Your CHJAAF Board has been working with our conference behind the scenes to prepare for the upcoming Football and Cheer campaign.
Our first registration is Saturday, March 19th at Community Park (In the turnaround area near field 1.)
Registration will be open from 8am to 11:30am.

Registration will be open for:
· Tackle Football
· Cheerleading
· Conditioning Camp
Below are a few guidelines you will need to know and follow:
· The requirement age for all divisions for football and cheerleading is their age as of July 31, 2022.
· Your registration is not guaranteed until you have completed all registration documents. This includes completing all required documents including verification of age. Football players will also need to be weight verified.
· There are limited number of spots for “Playbacks” in each football division. Playbacks are identified as:
o Micro Division – 10-year-old
o Jr. Pee Wee Division – 12-year-old
o Pee Wee Division – 13-year-old
· Original Birth Certificate is required for registration/certification.
· Proof of Residence is required.
Football registration is $475. This includes your Raffle Tickets.
Payment plans are available.
Please note all registrations will be for both NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS AND CHEERLEADERS.
Remember we have limitations in some divisions.

Our smallest guys, the Jr. Micro team, coached by Chuy Pinon, will play for the Division I championship against Eastvale on Saturday, December 11th! Their game will be at 9 a.m. at Norco High School located at 2065 Temescal Ave., Norco, CA 92860.
This is a rematch of a regular season game and should be awesome for the kids!

BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS
Interested in becoming a CHJAAF board member? Have great ideas you want to share to improve the program? Looking for a way to help in your son or daughters organization? Want to get involved?
All members with fully paid registration (and no outstanding equipment fees), parents and/or guardians of active players and/or cheerleaders of the CHJAAF and Cheer program will be afforded voting rights in annual elections.
General elections will be held on Thursday November 11th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the entrance of Chino Hills Community Park.
Nomination ballots must be turned in to the nomination table in the front of Community Park.
Key Dates:
§ November 4th - Deadline for all board nominations is 7:45 p.m.
§ Nominations must be turned in to the nomination table.
§ November 5th - All nominees will be contacted to confirm their nomination. Note: Only those candidates who accept the nomination are eligible to be elected. Nominees are only allowed to accept one (1) position.
§ November 11th - General elections will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the main entrance of Chino Hills Community Park.

· Must attend monthly chapter meetings beginning in January.
· Must attend monthly SCJAAF conference meetings. (President, Commissioner, Cheer Director positions.)
· Responsible for proposals, budgeting, contact and implementation of position required duties and events during both in and off season.
· Must attend and be available for the following board required events:
o Equipment inventory (January or February)
o Equipment distribution (2-3 per year)
o Sign UP’s (2-4 per year)
o Conditioning Camp (Tuesday and Thursdays - month of June)
o Regular Season Games – Mandatory attendance 2-3 games.

Weekly Chino Hills Update
This past weekend we had 6 wins and 1 loss!
We went 6-0 against the Rancho Cucamonga Warriors! Our Division 1 Jr. Micro through PW as well as our Jr. Pee Wee 3 teams won by a margin 158-20. The JPW 2 team defeated Murietta 40-0, and our Midget team had a close 22-14 loss to a tough Norco team. The Micro 2 and PW2 teams had byes.
Our Jr. Micro and all 3 Jr. Pee Wee teams remain UNDEFEATED! Way to go Bulldogs!
This Wednesday, October 27th is our annual Halloween Potluck! Your Team Parent has all the detailed information for this night of fun! Practices times will change for most teams. Please check with your Head Coach for your practice time that day.

The Bulldogs went 6-1 (with 2 byes) this past weekend!
We had a shutout over Upland as all 4 teams, Jr. Micro through Pee Wee posted wins. Our JPW 3 team (Kinney) had a big win over Orangecrest and the Pee Wee 2 team defeated Redlands. The Micro 2 team lost a hard fought battle to Riverside, but they are ready to go for week 2.
All teams except for JPW 3 (who has a bye) are playing away games. For the JPW2 team (Hayes) and Midget teams this will be their first game. Good luck to all!

Supporting the Oliveira family in Memory of Donald
Chino Hills Junior All American Football is asking all our current families to support the Oliveira family. Donald was our chapter President for 3 years. He and his family moved to Texas in 2018 but he stayed involved with our chapter and was always a part of the Bulldog family.
We will have a donation table at the entrance to field 4 during practice and before the Kickoff/Beef Rally. Please consider donating what you can, and we will present the funds to the Oliveira family when they are here on September 18th for the memorial service.

This week will be a busy one as we prepare for our season opener with plenty of excitement!

Helmets decals will be distributed Tuesday. Your Team AD and Team Parent will assist in cleaning the helmets and placing on decals.

Wow, what a week! It was great to see our Bulldogs out there on the field again! Everyone did a great job. Let’s keep it going!
Week two:
Players who have completed their required conditioning time.
Those players who have completed 5 days and 10 hours of conditioning will be allowed to participate in pads (football gear). You should have received notification from the Team AD on whether your player needs to make-up time.
Those who are beginning to practice in pads should wear the following:
Please make sure you provide plenty of water. The players will sweat more practicing in pads.
Players who still must make-up time.
Less than 2 hours to make-up.
Those players who have less than 2 hours of make-up conditioning time will go to their respective division AFTER completion of the mandated conditioning time.
Conditioning will be held on field 4 for all divisions. They report to the space on the other side of the cheerleaders. They can come to the field in their football gear but will continue to do their conditioning. When they are done, we will walk them over to their correct division to begin working out in full pads.
Those with one full day or more of make-up conditioning time.
Those players who have a full day or more of make-up conditioning time must come to practice in the following:
They will report to field 4 on the other side of the cheerleaders. Their time continues to be recorded as you must complete 10 hours. At the end of practice, they will be notified if they are able to move forward in pads.
Note: the information above does not apply to the Micro division this week.

Football is back! We are ready, are you?
CHJAAF football practice begins on Monday, July 26th. Here are a few reminders to help your first day go smoothly as possible.
Practice location:
Chino Hills Community Park
Eucalyptus Ave and Peyton Drive
6p.m.-8p.m.
The first day ALL players and cheerleaders MUST be checked in by a parent or guardian before going on the field. You must check them in. They will be given an identifying tag indicating they are cleared to practice.
**NO PHYSICAL, NO PRACTICE, NO EXCEPTIONS**
You also need to be paid in full before being able to be cleared to practice.
Check in is located at the main entrance of Community Park.
Check in will open at 5:15 to get the players/cheerleaders on the field by 6 to begin conditioning. Any late arrivals to the field must make up the time the following week.
Practice attire the first week:
White T-Shirt w/name & age on front and back (Use a black marker.)
Black Shorts Athletic supporter/cup
Mouthpiece Helmet (Optional)
Cleats (Optional)
Please put your players last name on the helmet using painters tape. DO NOT USE DUCT TAPE. We will have tape on hand if you need it. We also will have markers if you forget to put the name on the T-shirt.
Cheerleader should wear their practice uniforms (picked up this weekend) with tennis shoes (No Vans, Converse or slip on shoes). Hair should be pulled back in a bun or ponytail. No jewelry or nail polish. And if wearing glasses, they must have a sport strap attached.
It will be extremely hot the first month of practice. Please have your player/cheerleader bring plenty of water. (Name should be on water bottle)
Remember a helmet is not required for the first week of practice.
Finally, please remember no one is allowed on the practice field at ANY TIME without a field pass. See a board member if you need assistance.

Our next big important event is our Equipment Handout on Saturday, July 10th. At this time, your football player will be fitted for his game pants and jersey, shoulder pads and helmet. We will also take the shoe/sock size for game day socks. This is always an exciting day as some of our players put on a helmet for the first time!
Also don’t rush and get your cleats or mouthpieces yet! At our equipment handout we will have a Dick’s Sporting Goods coupon giving you 20% off your entire purchase! And yes, that means 20% off anything you buy that day!

Conditioning Camp 2021!
We are excited to get the football year started and no better way than to review and update our football fundamentals. Of course, there will be a little fun!
Here are the details for the camp:
Starting June 8th through June 29th
Every Tuesday and Thursday
6 – 8pm
CHINO HILLS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL FIELD

The first day, Tuesday, June 8th, you will need to check your athlete in. Check in requires a parent or legal guardian signature. Plan on arriving early to ensure your athlete gets on the field by 6. Check in will open at 5:30.
CONDITIONING CAMP RULES
- You must bring your own water bottle to camp. Don’t forget to put your name on your drink cannister or bottle. We will have a water refill station.
- WATER ONLY IS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK AND FIELD. NO GATORADE OR POWERADE.
- You do not need cleats for camp. You do want to wear shoes that will provide support when doing drills. (No slip-on shoes.)
- No one is allowed on the football field and track without a field pass. This includes walking around the track.
- No pets in the football field or stands.
- No smoking, including vaping or alcohol on school property.
- Please social distance for your own health in the stands.
For those of you who want to attend the June Conditioning Camp you may still register. We cannot guarantee Camp T-shirts. The cost to register is $25. New registration will take place after all current campers are checked in. (After 6:30pm.)
Lastly, anytime during Conditioning Camp you can turn in any required documents or make payments. Again, on the first day please do this after 6:30pm subsequent days anytime during the camp is fine.
During Conditioning Camp, we will also hold registration for tackle football. Most divisions are open. Registration will begin after all kids have been processed in for camp. Again, after 6:30pm. See our website for registration details.

Our ONLINE REGISTRATION SITE is open for both NEW AND RETURNING CHJAAF Football and Cheer registration!
Below are a few guidelines you will need to know and follow:

For each child you register, for both cheer & football, you must pay the minimum deposit of $150.

There is a transaction fee of $1 per registrant imposed by the website.

Your registration and position on a team is not guaranteed until you have completed your registration in person on the designated dates once we are cleared to do so. This includes completing all required documents including verification of age. Football players will also need to be weight verified.

The requirement age for all divisions for football and cheerleading is their age as of July 31, 2021.
