Thankyou for the commitment, effort, and sacrifice you gave to make this season the most significant one in the history of the baseball program. Varsity and frosh/soph players alike, have changed our identity and culture, and set a standard of excellence for all others to follow and uphold. It will take a SPECIAL kind of person to make it here, and ONLY the ones commited to excellence can hope to last in this program. I look forward to tryouts in the fall, and good luck on making the team. The competion for positions will be fierce!
Parents Club, thankyou for EVERYTHING! You too, have also done many unprecedented things for this program(too many to count). You were the founders of the very first club, and will be the backbone of our program for many successful years to come. Let's keep up the good work!

Entry ID: 861921 | To the Varsity Baseball Team....Thanks for all of the wonderful lasting memories. What a GREAT Year you all had. I truly believed as well as all of you, that this was the year you would win city. This is the season I will ALWAYS remember the most.I will carry fond memories of my son's last year of H/S ball as being one of the best !! Not just for the talent that each one of you had, BUT for all of the special friendships that seemed to grow throughout the season. To each of the remaining varsity players I wish you all nothing but continued success and another season to give the rest of the Chicago Public League reason to fear the " PANTHERS " Good Luck to all of you !!

Thanks also to Biddy for doing all she does. Thanks to Karen for being so determined and being successful getting Von a baseball field. Thanks to John Krenger for all of his hard work on the field and the time he has spent there, Thanks to all of the boys helping to get the field in shape and Thanks to Roger Baird for all the advice and help he has given to others to get the field in shape. Last but not least, Thanks to Dave for being there to Coach and manage the Varsity Baseball team ! |

Your doing a great job...as well to all the parents and coaches that attend the meeting each and every month. It would be great if new parents would stop by and get on board with the baseball club.
