You are playing for Coach PAT

You need to play PAT that will apply to Offense, Defense and Running

    P- Prepare
Offense- you need to know what to do with your bat according to game situation
Defense- you need to know what to do with your head according to game situation (where should i stand and throw to?, etc)
Running- you need to know what to do with your legs according to game situation (Should i run aggressive or not, etc)

    A- Accountability
Offense- you are responsible to advance the runner or just get on base as any way you can
Defense- you are responsible to bring solid glove to field and just catch damn ball. (for pitcher, just get godsake strike)
Running- you are responsible to run around the base as best as you can

    T- Teamwork
Offense- you need to help team by keep rally ALIVE by not make third out of each inning, or step up when other player had bad game
Defense- you need to help team by communicate effectively and give positive reinforcement (or word)
Running- you need to listen to whoever on first base/third base coach

Also, it will apply to bench as well such as Prepare to play, are responsible to remove splinter from your ass(just kiddin), seriously you are responsible for your own action such as change negative approach to positive by give out encouragement words and support the team itself

I have a golden rule of softball that I think every player can live by.
I think that every softball player should have a commitment to their team mates, and that's to play every game as hard as you can. When you play the game of softball, play it with a vengeance.... No matter what the outcome is, never give up. Their will be times when you will be down a large number of runs and you will comeback to win. Keep that same attitude whether you are up by 20 or down by 10. Don't ever feel like you have enough, that's when you don't have enough..... You have to have that killer instinct in your eyes. You always want to have that same look because that way they will never know what to expect from you. Never let them see you sweat. Just keep coming after them. So always remember to play hard and never, never quit. And play for the love of the game...
