Softball Pitching clinics
To get the NLL Girls ready for the upcoming season we'll be concentrating on pitching over the next few weeks at the Hope Lutheran Church Gym (off of Mill Creek Parkway). Please invite any others interested in playing for NLL this year. A special pitching instructor, Art Bittell, will be reviewing the techniquest of pitching for all girls, there is a nominal fee of $25 for this.

Hope Lutheran Church & School is located off of Mill Creek parkway. If you take New Falls Road to Edgley (5 points intersection) make a right, follow Edgley and make a left on to Mill Creek the next right is Haines turn into the parking lot. The gym for the school is located by walking straight through the entrance up the steps and down the hallway.

Board Meetings
The Neshaminy Little League Board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 8:30 pm during the baseball season April through August (7:30 pm September through March).
All NLL board meetings are open to coaches, parents, and volunteers. Please feel free to attend and to encourage others interested in the league to attend, as we rely on the kindness of volunteers to make the league a success.

Softball Clinic - Thanks for attending
On Sunday softball players of Neshaminy Little League met up with players for the NHS softball team to learn more about the sport. Thanks so much for coming out and especially THANK YOU to the Neshaminy High School softball team and Coach Houser for spending their time with the girls. Best wishes to you in your games in the coming week!!

Picture & Skills Day FUN!

Ugly weather still made for great pictures, thanks for all for being so patient and flexible with the scheudle for the picture day and skills competition! please send your pix! Even though we had to work through the early morning rain and coldness there were smiles galore! Pictures are expected in before closing ceremonies.

Thanks to Superior Turf who have 'skinned' the infield re-set re-sod, leveled off third base and filled any other holes. An irrigation system has been installed in the infield and can be watered as needed. This will make for a great season for our majors and minors baseball teams, and the entire league.
Thanks to Bob Keen and Steve Barner all labor has been waived and costs are only for materials.

About Us
Neshaminy Little League has been in existence for over 50 years, staring out at where Hilltop AA now exists and moving to the fields of Neshaminy High School, committed to the youth of the Lower Bucks area comprised of parts of Langhorne, Lower Southampton, Trevose and Feasterville. The ideals which teach fair play, good sportsmanship, and the spirit of teamwork are strictly adhered to and taught. Join us in learning the national pastime with almost 300 players! It's for all boys and girls, ages five and up. Our clubhousse and fields are located behind Neshaminy High School, we have 5 fields, 2 batting cages and a snack stand. NLL is dedicated to providing children with the fundamentals of baseball and softball. They'll learn how to play and more it is just as imnportant enjoying time with their friends. The organizaiton is entirely run by volunteers (if you'd like to volunteer please send us an e-mail)
The baseball divisions of Little League have more than 150 participants in separate divistions.
T-Ball - all incoming players aged 5-7 (Girls & Boys)
CoachPitch - 1 year experience or 6-8 * (Girls & Boys)
Minors - players with at least 1 year experience ages 8-10 *
Majors - 10-12 *
Juniors - 13-14 *
Seniors - 15-18 *
Softball with over 100 girls divisions:
Minors - players with at least 1 year experience ages 7-10 *
Majors - 10-12 *
Juniors - 13-14 *
Seniors - 15-18 *
*tryout necessary which is run before the season begins
Season: The season starts out in late April and ends in the middle of June. T-Ball and CoachPitch will play in-house between other players, all games are held at Neshaminy fields behind Neshaminy High School (click on directions). The older age divisions will play with others under District 21 Little League (Croydon, Bristol, Morrisville, Levittown, Fairless Hills and Bensalem). Minors and Majors divisions will compete throughout the summer in tournaments that eventually lead to the Little League World Series as seen on TV!
Cost: $95 first child, $50 second child, all others FREE. Each family will receive raffle tickets to cover the cost of registration, sell tickets to re-coup the money!
$50 volunteer fee, each family is required to work 2 hours per child, participating in the snack stand, coaching, or assisting with field maintnenace will waive this fee.
Each family is also required to sell a box of candy per player (opt out for $35).
All costs pay for the uniforms and equipment for the league. We are non-profit, volunteer based organization.
Volunteering: The volunteer is an essential part of our organization. Any mom or dad can take part in their child’s athletic endeavors, AND give their time to the community. We rely on this in making our Little League program thrive.
Sign ups: NLL begins registration in January/February, dates/times will be on the website as well as on-line.
