Pitcher & Catcher Workouts--Starts Nov 21
Schedule is posted under Team calendar section. These workouts at WHS gym will be one-on-one development sessions. Also this will allow new pitchers, catchers and I to get to know each other in an off the field environment. This will lead us to have better communication during the season. At a minimum (all welcome), I would like to have the following players attend: Schoon, Stone, Pichford, Lovato, M. Aragon, C. Aragon (if playing), Cooper, Dillingham, Cruz, Caliz, Martinez (based on knee condition). This is a "closed session" no parents permitted to the workout session. If you have any questions, please free to contact me--Coach M.

Core Training Plan Fall 2009--Pre-Season Conditioning
Call Max Performance at 444-0381 to set up your Sport Screen Evaluation. If you paticipated last year at Max Performance, then you do NOT need to have another Sport Screen Evaluation. Please tell the receptionist that you are from WHS baseball. Please complete this no later than 11/5. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
The following is the plan for our fall training program for our baseball team, starting ~11/17 and ending ~12/30. Max Performance will design and implement an entire baseball-specific routine that includes a dynamic warm-up, reactive/agility training, strength training, and conditioning. There will be two workout sessions per week for 6 weeks. The cost will be $15 per player per session, yotal cost $175 (price break from Max Performance normal $25 for this type of training). I am discussing days/times now, but I will keep the days and times consistent throughout the training program. If needed I will probably block off a couple of hours to stagger the number of players that are in the facility at a given time.
I would like to see as many players as possible join, but do not make any payments at this time. I am planning to start working possible varsity pitchers (one-on-one) and catchers starting ~ 15 Nov, so this will take the place of this core training.
This training will replace our weight training at WHS.

Concession Stand Volunteers Needed for Baseball Season
We need a lead parent volunteer for each squad--Varsity, JV, and C squad--to set up concession stand game coverage. A player guardian/parent should volunteer to cover a home game during the high school baseball season to support our baseball program. The concession stand parent lead parent volunteer will contact each player guardian/parent to request a volunteer date. Please check either the high school or this website for the C-Squad, JV, and Varsity game schedules.
Please support WHS Baseball!
