Lightning Lacrosse Spring Tournaments Discontinued
With an ever-dwindling pool of players from which to draw parent-volunteers, it has become increasingly difficult for Lightning Lacrosse to effectively plan and organize its Playday (girls) and Thunderbolt (boys) spring lacrosse tournaments. With this in mind, the Board of Trustees for Lightning Lacrosse has decided to discontinue these spring lacrosse tournaments. We are sad to see our tournaments come to an end, but we are delighted with the memories that past tournaments have created for generations of lacrosse players, parents and coaches representing teams from all over the state. Lightning Lacrosse hosted its spring lacrosse tournaments in West Windsor Community Park dating back several decades with only 2020 and 2021 as years missed due to the pandemic. Lightning Lacrosse would like to express sincere gratitude and appreciation for the decades of support that we have received from participating clubs, teams, players, parents, sponsors, vendors, officials, and volunteers. And special thanks to West Windsor Township and its residents for the unwavering commitment to support our spring lacrosse tournaments.
