Fort Cherry High School (Fort Cherry)
From Route 50 East:
Into Bridgeville, take Route 50 West toward Cecil. Route 50 is four lanes for about 5 miles, and then becomes two lanes. After you reach the section where it is two lanes go about two or three miles to the intersection of Route 980. Turn right onto Route 980 North heading toward McDonald. Going down the hill into McDonald make a left turn at the Family Dollar / Dollar General Store ( Johns Avenue). Go one mile to stop sign. Go straight. Within ΒΌ mile there will be a road that turns to the left called Fort Cherry Road. Make that left. The school is one mile at the top of the hill, on the left.
From Pittsburgh/ Parkway West:
Take the Parkway West to Route 22/30 West (Tonidale Exit). Take the McDonald Exit (Route 980 South). At the exit turn right. Go seven miles to a stop sign. Turn right onto Noblestown Road. Your will cross over an old railroad crossing bear right. Go up the small hill and down the other side. Make a left onto Fort Cherry Road. School is one mile at the top of the hill, on the left.
From Washington / Interstate 79 South:
Take I-79 North to the Canonsburg Exit. At Ramp turn left. At the second light go straight. Follow 980 North into the community of McDonald. Coming down the hill into McDonald make a left turn onto Johns Avenue (Family Dollar / Dollar General Stores on corners). Go one mile to stop sign. Go straight. Make a left turn onto Fort Cherry Road. School is one mile at the top of the hill, on the left.
From Erie / Interstate 79 North:
Take I-79 South to the Airport Exit (Route 60). Take Route 60 North. You will cross over the Parkway West. At this intersection, stay straight. This will turn into Route 22/30 West. Take the McDonald Exit (Route 980) off of Route 22/30. At the exit, turn right onto Route 980 South. Go seven miles to a stop sign. Turn right onto Noblestown Road. You will cross over an old railroad crossing, bear right. Make a left onto Fort Cherry Road. The school is one mile at the top of the hill, on the left. (You can follow signs to Fort Cherry Golf Club; they are right below the school).
From Washington Route 18:
Take Jefferson Avenue to Route 18 North. Stay on Route 18 and it will become Route 50. Stay on Route 50 through Hickory. Once you past the intersection of Route 50 and Route 519, make the first left turn. The school is three miles on the right side of Fort Cherry Road.
