All Star Game Schedule Changed (Same Day) May 7, 2008 - 04:21 PM
This Saturday the ZBL will hold it's first ever All Star Game. Details are as follows:
Date: Saturday, May 10th
Start Time: 4:00 PM (note new start time)
Location: Paul Meyer Field
All Players are invited to get to the field at around 2:00 PM for an All Star Only Home Run Derby. This event is FREE to all All Stars.
All Star Rosters will be posted later tonight.

Week 8 Results May 6, 2008 - 08:41 AM Bulls Trampel Hitmen
The LV Bulls (5-3) notched another victory this weekend, crushing the So. Nevada Hitmen (0-7) by a score of 21-2 this weekend. The Bulls are staking their claim to "elite" status.
Lobos Torch Devils
The Lobos (4-3) rebounded from a tough loss last week, defeating the Sin City Devils (6-0-1) by a score of 21-6 this weekend. The Devils were the last undefeated team left in the league.
Mustangs Send Raptors Nearer to Extinction
The Mustangs (2-5) won their second game in a row this weekend. They defeated the Nellis Raptors (5-2) by a score of 20-8 on Sunday at Silverado Ranch Park. The Raptors missed out on an opportunity to tie for first place in the Western Division.
Spartans Avoid Assassination Attempt
The SWV Spartans (5-1-1) and Assassins (4-3) played a tough game on Sunday, with the Spartans winning 7-5. After losing their first game of the season last week, the Spartans bounced back with a big win against a tough opponent. The Assassins are still looking for a victory against a top level team.
High Rollers take Victory vs Team Yesco
The Green Valley High Rollers (3-4) stayed in the playoff hunt with a victory over team Yesco (1-6). Yesco staged a furious comeback attempt at the end of the game, but fell to the Rollers by a score of 8-7. Two heartbreaking losses in a row for Yesco, a team that has shown serious improvement throughout the year.

All Star Managers Announced April 28, 2008 - 03:25 PM
The managers for the first ever ZBL All Star Game have been announced (based on first half records). They are Sin City Devils manager Tom Pulicini and Southwest Valley All Stars manager Colin McGrane.
Managers, please submit your two all stars to the league office by Thursday, May 1st. Each team will send two all stars each, with All Star Managers also selecting two additional players.
The All Star Game will take place on Saturday, May 10th at 7:00 PM (Paul Meyer Park). Check the site often as All Star Rosters are announced.

Week 7 Results April 28, 2008 - 09:57 AMLV Bulls Stun Southwest Valley Spartans
In perhaps the most surprising result of the 2008 Spring Season, the LV Bulls (4-3) stunned the Southwest Valley Spartans (4-1-1) at Paul Meyer Park last night. Jeremy Smith allowed 1 run in a strong, complete game performance.
Assassins Terminate Hitmen
In the highly anticipated "mercenary showdown", the Assassins (4-2) executed the Hitmen (0-6) 15-0 at Silverado Ranch Park.
Nellis Raptors Steal One From The Lobos
In what some players are calling a controversial finish, the Nellis Raptors (5-1) defeated the Lobos (3-3) in a great game at Paul Meyer Park. A controversial batters interefence on an attempted steal at home help decide this game.
Sin City Devils Torch Green Valley High Rollers
The Sin City Devils (6-0-1) remained undefeated as they punished the Green Valley High Roller (2-4) by a score of 10-2 on Sunday at Silverado Ranch Park.
Mustangs Stamped To Victory Over Yesco
The Mustangs (1-5) stampeded their way to a victory over team Yesco (1-5) with an 8-7 victory at Silverado Ranch Park. The deciding play? An inside the park, grand slam homerun by CJ Najera in the bottom of the 9th. What a game!

Week 5 results are in, and we are starting to get a clearer view of the playoff picture. Week 5 action included:

Here are the results for week #5. The Devils and Spartans remain the only undefeated teams in the league. The Western Division remains pretty strong as they have 3 teams with 1 loss or less.
- Devils (4-0-1) defeated the Hitmen (0-4) by a final score of 12-0
- Spartans (3-0-1) defeated the Lobos (2-2) by a final score of 12-2
- Bulls (3-2) defeated the Yesco (1-3) by a final score of 14-8
- Assassins (3-1) defeated the Mustangs (0-4) by a final score of 13-3
- Raptors (3-1) defeated the High Rollers (1-3) by a final score of 12-8

We are now 4 weeks into the season, and divisional races are starting to shape up. In week 4 action:

Week 3 is now in the books, and the Sin City Devils (2-0-1), Southwest Valley Spartans (2-0-1), Lobos (1-1), LV Bulls (2-1), and Nellis Raptors (2-1) picked up wins.
On the other side of the ledger, the following teams ended up in the loss column: Assassins (2-1), Green Valley High Rollers (0-2), Yesco (1-2), Mustangs (0-2), and So. Nevada Hitmen (0-2).

Are you interested in playing on a team for the 2008 Spring Season but haven’t been able to find a team? Want to play more than just one game per Sunday? The Zone Baseball League is pleased to present it’s first ever Rookie Division Mini-Season. Details are as follows:
- All Sunday Games (Opening Day set for April 20th)
- 8 Game Regular Season
- Playoffs, Championship Game
- All Star Events
- Full 9 Inning Games
- Opportunity to Get Picked Up by a Full Season Team
- T-Shirt Jerseys, Caps, Umpire Fees Included in Individual League Registration Fee (not in Full Team Registration Fee)
- All Games Played at Silverado Ranch Park (Silverado Ranch Rd & Gillespie Street)
Registration Fees are as Follows:

2008 Spring Season Off to a Hot Start
The 2008 Spring Season finally got started, and if the first weekend of games are any indication, this is going to be a great season!
In Eastern Division action the LV Bulls (1-0) started off the season with a 7-2 win against the Lobos (0-1). The Southwest Valley Spartans (1-0) showed that they are as good, if not better than last season with a 13-2 victory over the Mustangs (0-1).
In the Western Division, the Assassins (1-0) begain their championship quest with a 9-6 victory over the improved Green Valley High Rollers (0-1), while the Sin City Devils (1-0) continued their recent resurgence with a 10-4 victory over the Nellis Raptors (0-1).
In the only inter-division action this week, team Yesco (1-0) won a thrilling 12-11 game over the Southern Nevada Hitmen (0-1).
