Mission Statement:
The mission of the Clearview Lacrosse Club is to actively develop participation in lacrosse while preserving and expanding the integrity of the game. We will conduct ourselves in a manner that encourages open dialogue and exploits the talents of our diverse membership.
Background:
The Clearview Lacrosse Club was organized in 2001, as a non-profit 501(c)-9 organization. The club started with a single 7-8th grade team with 30 boys. That team now represents the core of the Clearview Regional High School Lacrosse Team(s). In 2005, the program had more than 120 players in our 3-4th grade, 5-6th grade and 7-8th grade Teams. In 2006, we expanded our program to offer youth girls grades 5-8th grade to learn and play the game of lacrosse, 3rd and 4th grade girls were then added.
Clearview Regional High School added lacrosse as a Varsity sport for both the boys and girls, in the spring of 2005.

We have been accepted as a member of US Lacrosse (www.USLacrosse.org), the National sanctioning body for lacrosse. US Lacrosse has over 160,000 members nationally. We belong to their Upper Atlantic Region – the fastest growing region in the country, with growth over the past two years of 50.8%.
We have applied to be members of the New Jersey Chapter of US Lacrosse. This chapter has grown from being the 15th largest in the nation 5 years ago to being the largest chapter in the nation now, with over 10,000 members.
We are one of the founding members of the South Jersey Youth Lacrosse League, in which most games are sheduled.
