Cheerleading Practice will begin on August 7th at 5:45pm. Practice will be held at Thomasboro Elementary School (538 Bradford Drive).

Hello Parents,
The only announcement that I have for this week is that we have our first Parent Meeting Monday, September 8,2008 at 7:30pm. We will discuss important season information. If you are not able to attend, please email me and I will let you know what was discussed.

Coach Kendra's Top 10 Tips for being an AWESOME Cheerleading
1. Make good grades - ALL Cheerleaders are smart and we have the grades to prove it!
2. Eat Right - Eating right will help with your jumping, voice dictation, smile, the way you look and the way you feel
3. Condition - If you can¡¦t walk up a hill, you won¡¦t be able to make it through a football game. All cheerleaders, no matter what size you are, MUST MUST condition
4. Have a positive attitude - Having a positive attitude will help you defeat any cheerleading or life obstacle that you may be faced with
5. Be a team player - There is really no climb a Mountain!!
6. Stay Focused - With all the excitement that goes on at a football game, we tend to forget why we are there but just stay focused on your job and let the crowd do the rest
7. Make good grades - Did I say this already!??!!? This is soooooo important without good grades you are not able to cheer and everybody wants to be a Cheerleader!
8. Practice - Practice makes perfect!!! If you practice, it will always show.
9. Never say can't - Can't is a word that means you have been defeated, so if you find yourself saying can't change it to something positive like I Can, I am trying my best, I will or even ,Watch me Do it!
10. SMILE! - SMILE SMILE SMILE SMILE! and that's all I have to say about that. SMILE!
