WELCOME COACHES!!!

Thank you for donating your time to helping our boys and girls learn the great game of baseball!!  This page is devoted to helping you, as coaches, be the best coach you can be by acting as a one-stop resource in answering your questions.  If you have a question that is not answered by this page, please contact your level coordinator and they can find the answer for you.

Q.  How do I reserve a field for practice or for a make-up game?

A.  If you know the date and time you would like to schedule a practice or make-up game, please check first to see that the field is open during that time on that day by going to the "FIELD SCHEDULES" link on the main menu and then scrolling down to the appropriate field.  If the field is available on that date and time you need it, then either call Tim Rohweder at 628-3294 or e-mail him at trohwede@proctor.k12.mn.us and he will put it on the field schedule to reserve it for you.  IF YOU DO NOT RESERVE YOUR SLOT, THE FIELD MAY NOT BE PREPPED OR THERE MAY NOT BE AN UMPIRE FOR YOUR MAKE-UP GAME.

Q. What are my options if I don't have enough players to play on any given night?

A. There are a few options you have if this is the situation.  First, you can contact the coach of the opposing team and attempt to reschedule the game when you know you will have enough players.  Second, you can find players who may be able to fill in for your missing players either from the same level or from the level below (Example: You are a majors team so you can find other majors from other teams within our association if they are not playing that night or you can find players from the minors level from within our association).  YOU MAY NOT PICK UP PLAYERS WHO ARE FROM OTHER ASSOCIATIONS (HERMANTOWN, WEST DULUTH, ETC.) OR FROM LEVELS ABOVE.
