Ben is a 5’11” combo guard with off the dribble shooting ability that he’s had since the 5th grade! One of the top defenders in the state, Ben will score or give offensive opportunity to his team through his defense. Ben is a Co-Captain at his 2-A Southern Indiana Austin high School team as a Sophomore! He also just happens to be a 4.0 Student making him a great catch for those schools that are looking to fulfill academic excellence as well as a top notch guard. Deadly shooter from 3, and off the dribble, there is no one better! Wants to major in Engineering, and will be more than capable of any academic scholarship available.

Dylan McDaniel - Power Forward, New Albany High School

Dylan is another player hailing from New Albany in the 4-A Southern Indiana power house bulldog team. Dylan is a 6’6” 220 lb 4-5 position player, with a size 18 shoe, and open growth plates witch should result in much more vertical growth. Fouling him in the paint or on the 3 point line is going to result in an free throw festival shooting over 90% from the line. Dylan has excellent post moves and range out to 30 feet at a very high percentage. One of the better 3 point shooters on the team, Coach Wilkerson has started perfecting Dylan’s post presence. Passing is one of this post players strengths, with the ability to make a full court chest pass, and outlet passes that the fastest guards can monopolize upon. Look for this 2010 big man to be a part of the Indiana All-Star squad in two years.

Jordy Martin - Point Guard, New Albany High School

Jordy at 5’10” plays for New Albany High School who garnered a record of 26-1 for the 2007-08 season in the very competitive 4-A Indiana class basketball system. Jordy is the one man press breaker for the Spiece Gym Rats 2010 squad. Hhis un-canny ability to run at top speed very low to the ground makes him impossible to stop. He’s a fantastic shooter with great range, but prefers to pass. A true point guard, Jordy maintains a 4.0 GPA, and brings this intelligence onto the court each and every game. Jordy will average 4-6 steals per game because of his game knowledge. He knows what the opposing team is going to run . . before they do! He brings the intangibles to the game, and is one of those players you find it difficult to win without. An interesting note on Jordy and his New Albany team mate Dylan (listed above) is boasting a combined record of 72-3 from 7th grade to 10th grade playing for their respective school team in the New Albany Floyd County district!

Kegan is a very long 6’4” athletic player from Coach Wilkerson’s alma matter, Jeffersonville High School in Jeffersonville, Indiana. One of two players from the Jeff system, Kegan is a very good slasher and aggressive to the basket quarter in and quarter out. His ability to score when needed is refreshing for any coach who needs someone to step up when needed. Kegan has a superior vertical at over 30 inches, and can play the 2-4 positions effectively. Kegan can make things happen, and make players around him better through his hard work and skill.

Sean hails from Louisville, Kentucky attending Dupont Manual High School, and is one of two out of state players on this Indiana squad. Sean has grown to 5’10” with open growth plates and expected growth to over 6’. Sean is a true point guard with a deadly jump shot, and one of the best passers in the high school ranks today. He’s a player that everyone loves to watch, just because you never know what to expect next from his passing game. Sean will get the ball to players that no one even know are on the floor! If you are needing a true finesse point guard, Sean is a true prospect. He also has the ability to score off the dribble, coming off a screen or anywhere from 25 feet and in! very high percentage shooter.

Miles at 6’3” is our second Kentucky player. Also attending Dupont Manual playing for a very strong high school program with his team mate Sean Samsel. Miles is another 4.0 Academic All-Star with his sights set on playing for a high level academic institution and playing basketball. Miles is one of those players that at first appear un-assuming, until he starts picking apart the defense and helping his team mates get the offense in motion. Miles rarely misses from 3 point range, and has proven clutch time and time again. Miles will be another player that will be eligible for an academic scholarship, and has high career sites set.

Steven is new to the summer basketball circuit, after sudden growth to 6’3” has launched him into basketball over baseball. Hailing from Henryville, Indiana he attends Henryville High School a 1-A program in Southern Indiana. Steven is a quick study, and very athletic with great potential. A role player at this time, but with continued development through Coach Wilkersons system, Steven will make a very strong 2-3 player for a nice college program
