PARENTS’/SPECTATORS’ CODE OF CONDUCT

1.    Parents and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times.

2.    There will be no swearing or use of Vulgar or offensive language, no taunting, no harassing, or any other form of unsportsmanlike conduct, language, or behavior at the facilities of the NNLL

3.    During a game, if any parent or spectator conducts himself/herself in an unsportsmanlike manner, the umpires, NNLL Board field duty representative, or any NNLL Board Member has the right to immediately stop play, review the problem, and proceed with disciplinary action as outlined in Article VII of the NNLL Bylaws.

4.    Parents, legal guardians, and siblings are encouraged to become actively involved in the programs at NNLL and with the baseball teams as assistant Coach, organizers of the after game treats, sc ore keepers, dugout assistants, etc.

5.    Any minor problems that develop with the Coach of a team should be discussed with the assistant Coach, head Coach, and parents of the team.  Any major problems should be reported in writing to the NNLL Conduct Committee (Article III, G. #16, B).

6.    Cheer for your team!  Do not cheer for the failure of the opposing team.  Set a good example and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

8.    The head Coach of the teams have been interviewed and recommended by the NNLL Coaches Selection Committee to the NNLL Board of Directors.  The NNLL Board of Directors will review these recommendations and will Vote to determine the individual head Coaching positions.

9.    Each head Coach is responsible for selecting assistant Coach.  The assistant Coach must be parents, legal guardians, or siblings of the players on that specific team unless written approval is granted from the NNLL Board of Directors.

10.  In the event a parent, legal guardian, or spectator receives two suspensions from the NNLL facilities in the same season, the individual will be suspended from the NNLL facilities for the remainder of the season.
