2016 Team Parent Notes
-
Photo Order Form – Pictures are scheduled for Sunday 5/21. Our specific time will be announced later.
-
Fundraising Info – We will be selling Worlds Finest Chocolates. ,
-
Cougars Day – We are very excited about this fundraiser as it should be a great night out. We are “Going Dark” on Thursday 6/15, which means there are NO GAMES for SELL so everyone can attend the Kane County Cougars Game. It’s Baseball and Softball Night and Thirsty Thursday ($1 drinks). Tickets are being sold for $13 each with a portion of the cost going towards the League. We feel this would be a great time and encourage the whole team to attend (as well as selling tickets to friends, neighbors, family). We would love to fill the park with SELL families!
-
Volunteer Hours – Most of the families have either completed the volunteer hours (4) or have them scheduled. If you have any questions on how you can fulfill this obligation, please let me know. It can be things as easy as running the scoreboard or helping out on field days.
-
Raffle Tickets will be coming out soon. More details TBA.
-
Buffalo Wild Wings – there is a SELL card that can be shown any time you dine at BWW, which gives 10% of your total bill (including alcohol) back to the League as a fundraiser. We will be texting out a picture of the card, so you can show it any time you are there as well as text it to friends and family so they can also help support the League.
-
Spirit Wear info should be coming out soon also. We are working with a new vendor and it sounds like there are going to be a lot of cool options for SELL wear.
-
We are planning to assist the Bartlett Challenger League at a game on Friday 5/27. We hope everyone can come out and be a “Buddy” to these kids during the game. If your player is willing and available, please let us know. This is a great opportunity to give back and help out these kids, who just want to play baseball too. Attached is information on the responsibilities of a Buddy.
