The BCYB’s Philosophy: Why we must train and certify our coaches...
The single most important action a youth sports organization can take to enhance its program is to train its volunteer coaches. Coaches are the teachers, the role models and the surrogate parents all rolled up in one. If they understand and fulfill their responsibilities, your league will be successful and your players and their families will have rich and rewarding sports experiences.
