I would like to buy my child a football. What size does he need?
Here are the sizes that are required:
Flag: Wilson K2 or Nike 1000K
Knee-high: Wilson K2 or Nike 1000K
Mite: Wilson K2 or Nike 1000K
Midget: Wilson TDJ or Nike 1000J

Each player will be assigned to a team based on their age as of June 30 using the following chart:

How much does it cost and what is included?
Football players will be provided with a helmet, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, girdle pads, practice pants, practice jersey, game jersey & game pants. Players are not provided with cleats or athletic supporters. Cheerleaders will be provided with a skirt, vest, and shirt. Cheerleaders are not provided with shoes. The cost is:

Cheerleading

There will be a mandatory fundraiser during the season!

When will the season begin?
The first day of practice is scheduled for Monday, August 17, 2009 at the West Reading Playground. Practices will be held from 5:30pm - 8:00pm Monday thru Friday until Aug 28th. After Aug 28th, practices will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday evenings, until the end of the season. Games will be played on Sunday afternoons starting in early September (Flag & JV games will be held on Saturday mornings).

Where will the games be played?
We have entered the Reading-Berks Youth Football League. This league features teams from Exeter,Governor Mifflin, Muhlenberg, Rising Sun, CCYO, Northwest, Kutztown, Boyertown, Upper Perk, and Reading Central Catholic. All of our home hames will be played at Holy Name.
