Arrive early to Stretch out and get Warmed up.
Trainging and Practice is more important than any games we play!
In Order of priority as to what's important for you as a Player to get to be the best you can be is:
TRAINING = MOST IMPORTANT (By FAR)
PRACTICE = 2nd most important
GAMES = 3rd most important
TRAINING is MOST IMPORTANT because you are working on skill developement. The skills are what makes players average-good-great & Best.
Practice is 2nd to Training. At practice you work on playing as a team. Learning to work together with 4 other players on the court in an offense and defense where each player has a role and specific action that they must follow. You must be able to Listen (hear-understand-do it). In a team offense defense special situations one person not knowing what to do means failure for the team.
Games are last on the list but still needed to develop as a player. Many a lunch time legend don't do quite so well and need game experience.
March 15th - June 15th Schedule:
We will play 18 games
8 Games SAV JV High School League (Saturday's)
10 Games Shoot outs / Tournaments (Saturday or Sunday or Both)
JV League Dates:
Saturday's JV League Schedule is posted.
Shootout/Tournament Dates & Times :
April 19th & 20th = Tournament WC (3-4 Games)
Dates we are Playing in Shootouts/Tournaments are listed below. We will play a minimum of 7 games from the dates Listed below:
May 9th - 11th = Coach Joe will be at the NIKE Coach's Clinic in LV
May 10th = 6pm game at Godinez High School (Coach Clayton)
May 18th Sunday = TBA
May 24th & 25th = Seahawks Shootout 3 Games
May 31st June 1st = TBA
June 7th & 8th = TBA
June 14th & 15th = TBA
Game schedule for JV leauge is posted on the website, Shootouts and Tournament games are TBA. Current weeks games are at the bottom of the websites home page.
