To Balk or not Balk.
The pitcher is standing on the rubber, getting his sign from the catcher, when a runner on third prematurely breaks toward home plate. The pitcher, who has not yet started the wind-up, breaks directly toward the runner and tags him before he reaches home plate. Is the runner out? Suppose the pitcher had stepped back off the rubber before he chased and tagged the runner?

Who's on First?
The scene is this: It's the 7th inning (for us AAU players) and there's one out in the top of the 7th. Batter gets up and singles one. The next batter gets up and hits a line drive towards the first baseman. The runner on first, thinking that the ball will be caught on the fly by the First baseman, retreats back to first. In fact, the first baseman fields the ball on a short hop, proceeds to step on the bag and then tag the the first runner. Does the inning end in a double play?
