2008-2009 Flag Football
We had a great 2008-2009 Flag Football season. We added two new divisions to our program the 6 & 7 and 10 & under. The great thing about our teams was that we were diverse in the group of kids that we had, most of the kids in our groups with the exception of the 10 & under team were new to any form of football. This was challenging at first, but fortunately we prevailed. Our 6 & 7 year olds were made up of new players that had never played football before. Despite their lack of experience they were able to put together a winning season and made it to the second round of the playoffs. A couple of these players are moving up to the next division and they are at a whole different level now.
The 8 & under team had its share of success as well, with only nine players on the roster they were the underdogs going into every game. This group of players were the hardest workers out there, they would play the whole game with out any substitutions. At times they seemed tired, however they never quit or let up. They finished the season 6-2 and the two losses they had were by 6 points each. They ended up second in their division and made it to the semi-finals of the playoffs. They barely lost by 6 against the team that ended up winning the championship.
Our 10 & under team was made up of most of the boys that played in our 2008 undefeated team. They moved up to a division that is mainly made up of second year 10u players. They were the smallest team in their division and at times seemed as if they would not have a chance against some of their opponents. However what they gave up in size they made up in skill, we had some of the fastest skilled players in the division. Even though they ended the season 4-4 their losses came from close games, they never got blown out. At the end they overcame and made it from barely making it to the playoffs, to making it to the semi-final game where they lost to the team that won the championship by 7 points. This group of kids are all still in tact and next season they are the big boys in the division. They are the favorites to win their division.

2007-2008 8 & under Flag Football-
The 8 & under flag football team had a great season in '08. They were 8-0 in the regular season, and were named 2008 8 & under Division Champions. This year we added 2 new divisions, 6&7yr. olds, and 10 & under. We hope to have the same success we had last year.
