    2006 JH - Middletown JH "B" Slams Lakota Liberty
    The Middletown JH "B" team hosted the Lakota Liberty "B" team on December 14, 2006 at Highview Elementary.   The B team slammed Liberty 56 to 20.   Team leaders included Brandon Pierson, Cody Hall, Tyler Werntz, and Kyle Myers. All winning by pin.

    JH Sweeps first Tri-Match of the Season
    December 4, 2006  --  
    Middletown JH(Vail/Verity)Wrestling Hosted its first tri-match December 4, 2006 at Highview Elementary Gymnasium.  Oak Hills-Rapid Run and Lakota-Liberty were the visiting teams.
    In the Dual between Middletown JH and Liberty, Middletown won 51-30.  The team was led by Dustin Turner, Ryan Lewis, Andrew Globke, Desmond Hall, Mike Cross, and DJ Lewis.  All winning by pin.

    December 6, 2006  --  
    Not to be forgotten and trying to keep up with the "A" Team the Middletown JH Wrestling "B" team Swept the Franklin Tri-meet Wednesday, Dec. 6th.  The Franklin Junior High "A" team was the host and Middletown Madison was the other visitor.
    In the Dual between Middletown JH "B" and Franklin "A", The Middies squeaked out a close one 36-34. The team was led by Jettie Burkhead, Justin Newcomb and Paul Barnard.  All winning by pin.

    The Dual between The Middletown JH "B" and Middletown Madison "A" was won before the Middies stepped on the mat, because the Mohawks only brought 4 wrestlers to the Dual.  Since one wrestler Madison had matched up with one of Middletown's forefeits there were only 3 matches.  The final Team score was Middletown 60 and Madison 12.

    2006 JH - "A" TEAM COMPETES AT MASON DUALS
    December 16, 2006  --  
    The Middletown JH "A" team competed in the 28th annual Mason Duals on Dec. 16, 2006 in Mason, OH.  The Dual team went 3 and 2 on the day placing 5th out of 10 teams.  Middletown lost two nail-biter duals to Loveland(39-43) and Princeton(39-41) early on, but bounced back to trounce Miamisburg(61-18), Lakota Ridge(60-21) and Lebanon(54-27).
    Team leaders were: DJ Lewis, Bobby Reeve, Mike Cross, and Desmond Hall all going 5-0 on the day.
    Ryan Lewis and Andrew Globke both went 4-1. Austin Reece followed going 3-2.  Seth Angel, Dustin Turner, Jordan Imhoff, Jettie Burkhead, Josh Mack, Joe Davis, and Justin Newcomb all went 2-3.  Zach Davis had a final record of 1-4. 
     
    The team showed their youth in a lot of cases, but had a lot of heart when it came down to the finish.  The "A" team will be in action again on December 18th at Milford in an away dual. 

     


    Middletown JH takes Pin Parade to Milford
    December 18, 2006  --  
    Middletown JH Wrestling traveled to Milford Tuesday, December 18, 2006 to wrestle the Milford "A" and "B" team.
     
    The Middletown "A" team had their way with the Milford "A" team, only allowing 2 wins and pinning the competition 72-12.  Pinning their opponent were: Jordan Imhoff, Ryan Lewis, Austin Reece, Jettie Burkhead, Bobby Reeves, Desmond Hall, Josh Mack, and Mike Cross.  Andrew Globke and Seth Angel both won by decision. DJ Lewis, Chris Ellis, and Joe Davis all recieve forfeits. 
     
    The "B" team continued the "pin parade" as they beat the Milford "B" team 53-19.  Pinning their opponent were: Brandon Pierson, Cody Hall, Tyler Werntz, David Enamerado and Damien Young.  Winning by Techincal Fall was Casey Smith(15-0).  Winning by Decision were: Tyler Odell and Tyler Hall.  Winning by forfeit were Jerid Stephenson and Chris Ellis.  Great job  Wrestlers. 
     
    Extra Wrestlers winning their matches were: Tyler Odell(second Match) and Brandon Pierson(Second Match)
     
    The "B" team will be in action on Wednesday, December 19, 2006 at Highview Elem. against Mason. 
     
    The "A" team will not be in action again until January 6th, 2007 at the Bridgetown Quads.
