How To Be A Leopard Fan Guestbook | Search | Weather | Top 100 Sites | Fun & Games

It seems at times Norphlet football games are more of a social gathering than a group of people trying to inspire young men that put in long hours of work to represent the town and it's people. Here are a few tidbits to make you a better Norphlet fan.

.) Always wear red on game day, all day long!

.) Attend the pep rallies every Friday afternoon at the basketball gym.

.) Invite others to the games. If two hundred Leopard fans each brought 2 visitors there would be 600 people cheering on the Leopards!

.) Do something during the week to make a Leopard football player feel special and know that we are proud of the hard work they put in to representing us and our town. You can invite one over for dinner, or take one out to eat. You can show up after practice with an ice chest full of cold drinks. You can find out their birthdays and bring them a birthday cake after practice. You can buy one a gift certificate to a movie rental store, or keep a scrapbook all year long of that player and give it to him at the end of the year. Everyone needs to know that Norphlet football players are treated better than any other school in the county. All this can apply to our hard working coaches also.

.) During the game when the Leopards score or make a big play, stand up and cheer. Do not ever ask anyone to please sit down during a game. There are some schools in the state that the fans stand the entire game in support of their players.

.) When the Leopard offense is on the field be very quiet so the players can hear the Quarterback's snap count, we don't want our boys to jump offsides. Then if the play is a success make some noise!

.) When the opponent's offense is on the field be as loud as possiable, we want them to jump offisdes!

.) When the National Anthem is being played please stand and put your hand over your heart and do not talk. Show some respect for the greatest country on the face of the earth.

.) The one thing to remember is it is all right to act like a complete fool at a ballgame, and it is alot of fun also!

.) Be a class act and never verbally assualt referees and other teams. Also never verbally yell or boo at one of our own Leopards when they make a mistake, when a young man makes a mistake he needs encouragement more than ridicule. If it upsets you too badly, take time out of your schedule to work with him if you think you can make him better. We are a team, when one makes a mistake they all make a mistake. Always ask yourself "just how many mistakes you made today?"

.) After a win on the road be waiting on the boys to arrive back at the field house and show them how much we love our Leopards!
