Parents:

  Thank you for a great year so far. I’m looking for our cheer competition on Sunday, October 25^th. Times will be announced soon so don’t worry your coach will let you know what time you will need to be there. With that being said it is very important that your cheerleader needs to be at practice everyday (if possible) as time is moving quickly. We know that girls are getting sick and that they need to stay home, but if they are not sick we would like each and every one of them to be at the field to practice. If they come home sick from school, then they can still come out and just not practice, incase the coach’s have to change something then they will be aware of it. Also pre-sale tickets are on sale now please see myself or Jenn in the cheer room at the end of practice. When the tickets come in I’ll send home another letter to let you know when you can pick them up. 

Also it was brought to my attention that some of our girls are wearing their cheer uniforms to school and to other outside activities. Please be aware that these uniforms have to be turned back into me at the end of the season. If there is anything wrong or the uniform does not come back in good condition that it is up to you the parent to replace the uniform. The cost of a replacement uniform is between 90-150 dollars because of the custom braiding that we use and with shipping. So please do not allow your child to wear their uniform anywhere but to our games on Saturday. They can wear their pre-games to school or outside activities unless they are told to wear them by either the head coach or myself. We will let you know.

I just want to say congratulations to each and every one of you this year. You all did an awesome job and should keep your heads up high. Remember you swept cheer off and made Englewood proud. You all made it to the Regional level and raised the money that we needed to go without your help we would have never made it. Thank you for all the fundraising that you all did this year. I hope that you all return next year and try again to get were you want to go. You all have the talent to do whatever you put your minds into.

I know I wasn’t there much this season, but what I have seen you all made me very proud of each and everyone of you, and I just hope that you all return next season so we can do it all over again.

I want to send some special thank you’s to the following:

Coach Jenn: without you, I don’t know how things would have turned out. You went around and help teams that asked you to help with and got them to the regional level. You were there when I couldn’t be and you did an awesome job. Thank you.

My daughter Kayla: Thank you for taking my room key to the field when I couldn’t be there and for collecting money for candles and t-shirts and bringing them home to me.

Kristine: Thank You for all your help after your season ended and you took over getting the hotel information and other things out to the parents when I couldn’t. Without you I don’t know what I would have done.

Cathy: Thank You for helping me to get flyers out to the girls about the upcoming fundraising events this season.

JPW- Lions came in 26^th

PW- Wildcats came in 6^th

JM- Panthers came in 8^th
