    Norphlet Youth Football Organization
The Norphlet Youth Football Organization was founded and established in the year 2000. The idea of Eric Goodwin after his son played youth football in El Dorado. "Why can't we have a team in Norphlet?" was Eric's question to others in the community. He incorporated the help of a friend in Sam Bridges and a El Dorado youth football assistant coach and former Norphlet student David Brumley. High School head coach Matt Wallace also helped with the efforts knowing that all the other schools in the conference had or were getting youth teams together. The Leopards kicked off it's first year of youth football in the 2001 season opener and a dream was realized.

    "Laying the Foundation for Success"
The mission statement for the Norphlet Youth Football Organization goes far beyond the gridiron. NYF coaches try to develop high standards in their players that will last a lifetime. The Leopard coaching staff tries to develop good habits in the young players by stressing the "4 E's of Success"
