Head Coach - Greg Dailer
Positions (QB, WR, DB), Offensive Coordinator
 
Coaching Experience
Coach Dailer came to Arlington in 2007 after coaching 8 years in Central Florida.  He spent six years as an assistant at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, FL, followed by two years as the head coach at Ocoee High School in Ocoee, FL. Coach Dailer led the Ocoee Knights to a 2-8 record in their inaugural season followed by an 8-3 season in the second year.  He was an assistant for one year for the Arlington Eagles in 2007, and became the head coach in 2008.  Since becoming the head coach at Arlington, Coach Dailer has an overall record of 50-42. He led the Eagles to WESCO North Championships in 2010 and 2015, a District Championship in 2010, and STATE appearances in 2010 and 2012.
 
Playing Experience
Coach Dailer played high school football at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, FL.  He was a three year starter as a quarterback for the Warriors.  He played his first college season with the Ole Miss Rebels at the University of Mississippi followed by 4 seasons at Division II, West Liberty State College.  Coach Dailer was a 2-time first-team All-League wide receiver his junior and senior seasons, and he was a first team All-American his senior year (1998).  He received an invitation to the NCAA Division II All-Star Game, and he left West Liberty with 7 school receiving records.  Coach Dailer is in the West Orange Hall of Fame, the METRO Conference Hall of Fame, and the West Liberty Hall of Fame for his on-the-field accomplishments.
 
Personal
Coach Dailer was raised in Wheeling, WV, and he moved to Orlando, FL when he was 15.  He has one younger brother and a younger sister.  His parents and siblings reside in Florida.  Coach Dailer is married to Ashley and has two daughters Claire and Layla and a son Gregory Dailer III.
 

 

 
Defensive Coordinator (Assistant Head Coach) - Judd Hunter Positions (OLB, Safety)
 
Coaching Experience
Coach Hunter began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Northern Colorado University for the 2000 and 2001 seasons.  He coached WR's his first year and safeties his second.  Coach Hunter then moved to Arlington, and he has been an assistant football coach for the Eagles since 2002.  He has been the Defensive Coordinator for the Eagles since Coach Dailer became the Head Coach in 2008.  Coach Hunter is the also the strength and conditioning coach for the Eagles.
 
Playing Experience
Coach Hunter played at LaCenter High School in LaCenter, WA from 1991 to 1994 where he was a four-year starter at QB and Free Safety.  He is the all-time passing leader at LaCenter High School.  Coach Hunter also holds the high jump record at LaCenter (6' 8").  He took both his football and track talents to Pacific Lutheran University (PLU), and he was a 3 year starter as a Free Safety.  His senior year (1999) he was a team captain on PLU's National Championship team.  Coach Hunter is in the PLU Football Hall of Fame for his success on the field at PLU.  Coach Hunter was also a NCAA Division III First-Team All-American in track at PLU.
 
Personal
Coach Hunter was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in LaCenter, WA from the age of two.  He and his wife, Kelsie (Arlington Grad), have two beautiful children:  Kaid and Ayden.

Personal

Coach Wilson was born in Hollywood California and grew up in Pasadena California. He went to college at Northern Airzona University and studied Biology. Coach Willson worked in the Steel business before becoming a teacher and taught with the Arlington School District for 29 years, he is currently enjoying his second year of retirement. Coach Wilson is married to his beautiful wife Diana and has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. 

Defensive Line Scott Green

 

Coaching Experience

Coach Green has coached football for the past 12 years both at the youth level and high school. He was a head coach at multiple levels with in the Arlington Youth Football Association and he joined the Arlington High School staff in 2013 to present. He currently is the Varsity Defensive Line coach. Coach Green has also coached Baseball, Softball, and Wrestling as well.

Playing Experience

Coach Green played for the McKay Nights in Salem Oregon (1989-1993) where he set several school records. He received several football awards but the most memorable was the award of 2nd Team All State and All League Punter award his senior year. The positions he played were Fullback, Linebacker, Tight-end, and Punter. He attended College at the College of the Siskyous in Weed California where he played offensive guard. 

Personal

Coach Green was born in Caldwell Idaho and grew up in Idaho, California, and Oregon. He moved to Salem Oregon in 1988 where he attended high school. He then moved to California for college and returned to marry his wife Diana in 1995. They have been married for 22 years and have 4 beautiful children. Britton Baker, Madison, Gabriel, and Luke Green. Britton lives in West Virginia, Madison is a recent college graduate of Northwest Nazarene University, Gabriel and Luke both attend Arlington High School and both play for the Eagles.

Coach Abrams has 40 years coaching experience and has been very valued in many districts.

Head Coach: Jackson HS (1994-98), Marysville-Pillchuck (98-02), Stanwood (02-09), Port Angeles (09-10), Monroe (11-14), RA Long (2016)

Assistant Coach: Central Washington University (1976-78), Kamiakin HS (79-84), Ferris (84-86), Lewis and Clark (86-88), Cascade Everett (88-94)

Personal

Coach Abrams worked as a school Psychologist and teacher for 30+ years. He is married to his beautiful wife Trudy for 35 years and has 3 children. Son Richard, and two daughters Heidi (Bob) Lowe and Ashley (Greg) Dailer. Coach Abrams also has five beautiful grandchildren Kami, Reagan, Claire, Layla and Greg III.

 Linebackers - Blake Petersen 

Coaching Experience

Coach Petersen began coaching at Arlington High School in 2015 as a defensive assistant. In 2016, was named linebackers coach and an assistant coach on JV.

Playing Experience

Coach Petersen played for Arlington High School from 2007-2010. He was a three-year letter-man and a two-year starter at linebacker for the Eagles. He also holds the records for single season tackles (174), and career tackles (3??). He was named a two-time All-Wesco linebacker ('09,'10) and 2010 All-Area. He played football at Pacific Lutheran University from 2011-2014. Coach Petersen played linebacker and was a kick returner for the Lutes during his four years. He was a four-time letter winner. During this time the Lutes made the Divison III National Playoffs twice. In his senior season, Coach Petersen led the Northwest Conference in interceptions. In 2010, Coach Petersen was the Frosty Westering Man of the Year recipient.

Personal Experience

Coach Petersen was born in Mount Vernon, Wa. and has lived in Arlington his entire life. He has two brothers and one sister. His brother Bryce is a current member of the Eagles football team. He would like to thank his parents for introducing him to the world of sports, and his coaches for inspiring him to lead others through coaching. 

Running Backs - Rand Matter

Coaching Experience

Began coaching at Arlington High School in 2016 as the Assistant WR coach.

Playing Experience

Coach Matter played running back and free safety for Snohomish High School 1994-1996. He recieved all Wesco honors as a senior and was an  alternate for East-West All Star game. Coach Matter also ran track and was in the State finals for the 100m and 4 by 100m as a senior. He was recruited as a running back to Central Washington University but switched to tight end after redshirting for his freshman year. He played tight end for CWU 1997-2000.

Personal

Coach Matter grew up in Snohomish, Wa and moved to Arlington in 2005 with his wife Meaghan, together they have two wonderful children Camden and Lila. 

JV Head Coach and Defensive Backs - Markkus Ellis

 Coaching Experience: Began coaching youth football in Arlington from 2005-2011, started at Arlington High School in 2012 as an assistant on the freshman team. Was named the Defensive Backs coach in 2013 and debuted as JV head coach in 2014 finishing with an 8-1 record.

Playing Experience: Played high school football in Arlington from 2003-2006 as a wide receiver and cornerback, following high school he played semi-pro football for five years.

Personal: Grew up in Woodinville, WA before moving to Arlington at age 8. Has three siblings. Gives credit to his father Mark and high school coach John Boitano for leading him down the path to coaching.

Coach Binder was born in New York. He joined the Navy in 1993 after being stationed in Long Beach California from 1994-1996 he moved to Everett Washington. He completed two deployments abroad the USS David R Ray and left the Navy with Honorable discharge in 2001. Coach Binder moved to Marysville in 1998 - 2005. In 2005 coach Binder and his family moved to Arlington where he lives today. Coach Binder is married To Cathy and together they have a son Cristian who is a recent graduate of Arlington High School.

Coach Gage was born in Elmira New York and grew up in Ithaca New York until moving to San Francisco California. He then moved to Edmonds Washington in 1994 where he still lives today. He has been married to his beautiful wife Paula for the past 40 years and has two grown sons whom are both WSU Cougar grads!

Coach McDougal grew up playing football. He played for the Little Grizzly football program along with Hellgate Middle School, and Big Sky High in Missoula Montana. 

Personal Coach McDougal lives in Arlington with his girlfriend. He has two children a son and a daughter and two beautiful granddaughters. His girlfriend also has two kids that he adores as well.

Coach Meyers was born in Calgary, Alberta Canada and in 1974 he moved to Smokey Point Washington. Coach Meyers and his beautiful wife Verlaine have been married for 21 years and have two sons Kade and Kirahy. Kade is a current graduate of Arlington High and Kirahy plays for the Arlington Eagles.

Personal Experience

Coach Stansberry was born in Seattle Washington and became an Arlington resident in 2001. Coach Stansberry is a Army veteran of the Desert Storm (Army Tanker) Thank you! Coach Stansberry is married to his beautiful wife Jenipher for 23 years and is the proud father of two children Allison who is the team manager for the varsity football team and Nolan who is a freshman eagle football player.
