Delaware Dragons Manager Tony Aleman
Coach Aleman is 43 yrs old, and has been coaching baseball for 18 years. He is currently and once again the Delaware Dragons (17U)Manager and Pitching Coach. Tony also manages the older Delaware Dragons (18/19U). He played ball for his High School, and for his Military Base's Traveling Team. He was previously president of Brookside Babe Ruth Baseball as well as VP of Newark Babe Ruth Baseball. Tony was the original Manager for this Dragons team (17U) and has been coaching the Delaware Dragons now for 7 years, including taking the team to Cooperstown several times and AAU Nationals. In this Dragons team's second year, he helped lead the team to a 4th place finish in the AAU Nationals. Married to Patti, he is father to 3 children. He is the proud father of AJ #14 (18/19U) and Matt #5 (17U).

Delaware Dragons Coach Ed Pilato
At age 46 Coach Ed has played Football, Baseball and Lacrosse. He received a scholarship to Rutgers University for Lacrosse. His coaching career includes being the T-Ball Comissioner for Brookside Babe Ruth, and coaching the 9,10,11 and 12 year old teams 5 years in a row. His Babe Ruth teams went to States and claimed a victory two times (once at the 10 year old level and once at the 12 year old level. His team also reached 4th in the regionals). Ed started the Dragons organization 9 years ago. Today the original Dragons play at the 18/19U level. He has been the manager and has coached the Delaware Dragons (17U) now for 7 years, including taking the team to Cooperstown several times as well as AAU Nationals. In the Dragons (17U) second year, he helped lead the team to a 4th place finish in the AAU Nationals. Ed will be the Dragons First Base Coach this season. Married to Marie, our treasurer, he is the proud father of 3 boys. He is the father to Bobby #1 (18/19U) and Nicky "Nails" #8 (17U).

Delaware Dragons Coach Steve Shupe
Coach Steve is not new to the coaching ranks. He was the Manager of two State Champions during his stint at Brookside Babe Ruth Baseball. Steve has been successfully coaching travel baseball for 5 years with the Blue Rocks and the 2005 Rampage Baseball Team which he also managed. Steve will be the Dragons Third Base Coach this season. Steve's positive attitude and ability to bring out the best in a player instills the Dragons with high hopes and expectations. Steve and his wife Gina are proud parents of two boys. Their younger son Jordan #29 plays for the Dragons (17U).
