Bio:
Carlos will be entering his first season on the Cougar Varsity baseball team and is coming off of an extremely successful Sophomore year on the JV. Being in the Franklin baseball program means "Dedication, hard work and respect," said Carlos. Carlos is extremely fast and will battle for a starting position in the Outfield and is an ideal lead-off hitter with bat control and knowledge of the strike zone. He is the proud son of Luke and Rosa Vaden. Carlos's role model is his mother "because she has overcome a lot without having help. It's been her and I for over 15 years."said Carlos. He attended Hornedo MS and his hobbies include staying active with running track and hunting. Carlos loves Mexican food and his favorite music artists are Bow-Wow and George Strait. Carlos has high aspirations and expects to be starting his career in medicine by the time he is 25.

Jordan is the son of Paul and Liz Bellegarde, he has a younger brother –Conor. Jordan attended Hornedo MS and his hobbies include working out, baseball and hanging out with friends. When asked what it means to him to be part of the FHS baseball program, Jordan states “It means representing the best baseball program”. By the time he is 25 he would like to be playing pro ball or to be a Biomedical Engineer. His favorite music artist is Trapt and his favorite food is pasta. His role model is his dad “Because he is always doing everything he can to make our lives better”.

Ray is the son of Ray and Lucy Delgado, he has two siblings –Mario and Krystle. Ray attended Hornedo MS. By the time he is 25 he would like to be a Pro Baseball player. For Ray, being part of the FHS Baseball program means “Pride and tradition”. Ray likes all kinds of music and his favorite food is chicken. Ray’s role models are his grandparents “Because they are awesome people”.

Chuck is the proud son of Tony and Elena Duarte. He attended Immanuel Baptist Middle School and his hobbies are working out and hanging out with friends. By the time he is 25 he would like to still be playing ball or to be an Architect. When asked what it means for him to be in the FHS Baseball program, he responded “It is an honor to play in a great program like this”. His favorite music artist is Lil Wayne, and his favorite food is Mexican. His role model is his dad because “He is always there when I need him”. Chuck has two sisters – Vanessa and Claudia.

When asked what it means to him to play baseball at FHS, he says : “It means to be a champion on and off the field, to win at life”. His favorite music artist is Blink 182 and his favorite food is Chicken Alfredo. His role models are his parents "Because they taught me everything I know" and Brett Favre “Because he is the toughest man alive (physically and mentally)”.

When asked what it means to him to be part of the FHS Baseball program, he states:”It is a privilege getting to know all the coaches and getting to know all the players but most of all getting to play ball with them”. Chris’ favorite music artist is System of a Down and his favorite food is Steak and Shrimp. His role parents are his parents “Because they teach me the rights and wrongs in life and support me in everything I do”.
