Bio:
Carlos will be entering his first season on the Cougar Varsity baseball team and is coming off of an extremely successful Sophomore year on the JV. Being in the Franklin baseball program means "Dedication, hard work and respect," said Carlos. Carlos is extremely fast and will battle for a starting position in the Outfield and is an ideal lead-off hitter with bat control and knowledge of the strike zone. He is the proud son of Luke and Rosa Vaden. Carlos's role model is his mother "because she has overcome a lot without having help. It's been her and I for over 15 years."said Carlos. He attended Hornedo MS and his hobbies include staying active with running track and hunting. Carlos loves Mexican food and his favorite music artists are Bow-Wow and George Strait. Carlos has high aspirations and expects to be starting his career in medicine by the time he is 25.

Jordan is the son of Paul and Liz Bellegarde, he has a younger brother –Conor. Jordan attended Hornedo MS and his hobbies include working out, baseball and hanging out with friends. When asked what it means to him to be part of the FHS baseball program, Jordan states “It means representing the best baseball program”. By the time he is 25 he would like to be playing pro ball or to be a Biomedical Engineer. His favorite music artist is Trapt and his favorite food is pasta. His role model is his dad “Because he is always doing everything he can to make our lives better”.

Ray is the son of Ray and Lucy Delgado, he has two siblings –Mario and Krystle. Ray attended Hornedo MS. By the time he is 25 he would like to be a Pro Baseball player. For Ray, being part of the FHS Baseball program means “Pride and tradition”. Ray likes all kinds of music and his favorite food is chicken. Ray’s role models are his grandparents “Because they are awesome people”.

Chuck is the proud son of Tony and Elena Duarte. He attended Immanuel Baptist Middle School and his hobbies are working out and hanging out with friends. By the time he is 25 he would like to still be playing ball or to be an Architect. When asked what it means for him to be in the FHS Baseball program, he responded “It is an honor to play in a great program like this”. His favorite music artist is Lil Wayne, and his favorite food is Mexican. His role model is his dad because “He is always there when I need him”. Chuck has two sisters – Vanessa and Claudia.

Ian is the proud son of Alan and Adj Ekery. Ian attended Hornedo Middle School and his hobbies include playing guitar and hanging out with his friends. By the time he is 25 he plans to be finishing his Master’s degree to become a College Coach. When asked what it means to him to play baseball at FHS, he says : “It means to be a champion on and off the field, to win at life”. His favorite music artist is Blink 182 and his favorite food is Chicken Alfredo. His role models are his parents "Because they taught me everything I know" and Brett Favre “Because he is the toughest man alive (physically and mentally)”.

Bryce is the son of Greg and Kathy Ewalt. He attended Hornedo Middle School and his hobby is playing ping pong. When asked what it means to him to be playing baseball at FHS, he replied “It means you have a lot of character and pride”. His favorite music artist is Brand New and is favorite food is Chicos Tacos. His role model is his dad “Because he works hard and has great advice”. Bryce has an older brother named Ryan.

Chris is the son of Larry and Grace Garcia, he has a younger sister –Lauren. Chris attended Lincoln Middle School and his hobbies include quading, off-roading and hanging out with friends. By the time Chris is 25 he would like to be doing “Something involving the Madreal Field”. When asked what it means to him to be part of the FHS Baseball program, he states:”It is a privilege getting to know all the coaches and getting to know all the players but most of all getting to play ball with them”. Chris’ favorite music artist is System of a Down and his favorite food is Steak and Shrimp. His role parents are his parents “Because they teach me the rights and wrongs in life and support me in everything I do”.

Cameron is the son of Steve and Carmen Haskins, he has an older brother – JP. Cameron attended Hornedo MS and his hobby is music. By the time Cameron is 25 he plans to be playing pro ball. Cameron’s role model is his dad “Because he is cool”.

Garrett is the son of David and Debbie Lewis he has two older sisters –Amanda and Briana. Garrett attended Hornedo Middle School and his hobbies include hunting, fishing and camping. Garrett would like to be playing professional baseball by the time he is 25. Garrett’s favorite music artist is Ranely Rodgers and his favorite food is Sushi.

Mario is the son of Mario and Emma Parra he has two brothers- Oscar and Cesar. Mario attended Lincoln Middle School and his hobbies include playing sports and hanging out with friends. By the time Mario is 25 he would like to be a professional athlete. When asked what it means to him to be part of the FHS Baseball program, he says “For me, it’s a privilege”. Mario’s favorite music artist is Blink 182 and his favorite food are the ribs from Applebees. Mario’s role model is Jose Reyes “ ’Cause he is a great player”.

OP is the proud son of Oscar and Aracely Payan, he has a younger brother named Sid. His hobbies include off-roading with his cousin Lucio and riding his quad. His favorite food is the Quad-stacker from Burger King. His favorite music artist is Eminim. When asked what it means to him to play for FHS Baseball he states: “It’s a big deal to be playing for the best program in the city”. By the time he is 25 he plans to be an Automotive Engineer and own his own business. His role model is his dad “Even though he has always been really hard on him”.

Robbie is the son of JR and Kim Rigole he has two siblings –Kayla and Brandon. Robbie attended Pickering Middle School and his hobbies include playing ball, lifting weights and hanging out with friends. He is not sure what he wants to be by the time he is 25, but knows he wants to “Be making lots of money”. For Robbie, being part of the FHS Baseball program means “A great opportunity to do great things and proud to represent FHS!” Robbie’s favorite music artist is Tim McGraw and his favorite food is the Chicken Strip Sandwich from Loney BBQ. His role models are his parents because “They are the best. I love how hard they work for me”.

John’s favorite music artist is Incubus and his favorite food is Cuban food. John’s role model is his granddad “Because he puts family first”.
