At Genesee Valley Ice Rink in Rochester, John Masca scored two goals to push the host Spartans past the Blue Devils. Matt Portland scored for Victor and Zeb Clark had 19 saves, but it wasn’t enough to stymie GC. 
 

Brandon Morgan had a goal and an assist for Gates while Ryan Fitzgerald netted the fourth goal.

Spartan keeper Matt Ryan made 22 saves to stop the Blue Devils.
