Football

We are a traveling football team. We play home games but also travel on Saturdays to away games. Schedules will be distributed and placed on Website once PRC finalizes them. 

Practices start on August 1st, 5 days a week. Our players need to meet mandatory conditioning time (with just helmets) before they can start wearing full pads. Once school starts, the younger teams usually reduce practice to three days a week, older teams start three days a week after Labor Day. The practices typically start at 5:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday once they go to three days a week. There could be practice other days if the coach desires, or if there's a rain out.

Kids compete with kids of similar age and size. Pop Warner is the ONLY youth football program (local, regional and national) that sets and enforces a strict age/weight matrix that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.

Pop Warner's Rule Book is tough. Strict, time-tested guidelines for protecting the safety of our kids. It also requires that EVERY participating child plays in EVERY game.
Pop Warner's National Office provides the best insurance program in American youth sports. Our national insurance standards MUST be met by every Pop Warner team, regardless of insurance carrier.

There are Seven Divisions of play, all determined by a strict age/weight scale to ensure safe and balanced competition.
