Rescheduling Guidelines
May 31, 2007 --
The schedule is 'frozen' and the only changes that can be made at this point are for weather related incidents. In the event a rainout occurs (or some other act of God that forces a cancellation), the following procedure will take place:
1. The league Secretary will look for open dates on THE FOLLOWING SATURDAY the rainout occurs (minimum of 7 days in between rainout and rescheduling for both teams involved) and will confirm those dates to be available with park manager Duane Rhine. Weeknight doubleheaders will also be scheduled when it's possible to do so.
2. The league will then reschedule that game in the earliest available time spot for that particular date (or to coincide with another game already being played by one or both of the teams forcing a double-header for one or both teams). This will be done via a form which all parties involved will received via email.
3. The league Secretary will then post the rescheduled game on the 'Reschedule Forum' forum located on the website menu to the left.
4. Umpires will confirm there that they have received the change and have the game covered. Managers are urged to also reply in the thread that they have received the change as well.
5. The scheudle has been officially changed at this point and the managers from both teams, the league commissioner and the cheif umpire will receive an email receipt of the change.
