LPGBA Lady Panthers has incorporated the aspects of the Positive Youth Development Theory, Servant Leadership Theory, as well as, the Normative Ethics Theory into the training and development of our players since our first day 11 years ago! We believe in focusing on all players who want to play and not hold tryouts, but instead, teach those players who are not developmentally ready in every way to play in games. We also teach our players how to lead and focus on each player being a team leader for at least one Basketball game and help out during practices. We are adamant about our focus on eating properly and nutritiously, as well as, staying hydrated. In everything that we do, we stress Normative Ethics (living an ethical life by way of understand the concept of there being consequences in life, along with, the concept of "right and wrong"). All of these lead to positive character development.

Once that trophy has been stored on a shelf, what else will your child say that she learned while playing? We focus on creating well-rounded athletes by teaching them the Five C's of Positive Development at every practice and in our interaction with our players. Good coaches understand that it takes all five to truly win at the game of life!

Training players takes time. It is the development of physical, mental, and emotional aspects of playing Basketball. We put the Five C's into play every day!
