KRUSH SCHOLAR ATHLETE AWARDS -Fall 2013 

 APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED

The Krush is excited to showcase our student athletes through or website. This is to recognize those players not only excelling on the field but in the classroom. Any current Krush player who is in good standing with her team who attains a 3.5 or above is eligible to be a “Krush Scholar Athlete”. Any player who attains a 4.0 or above will be recognized as a “Krush Scholar All-Star Athlete”.

In order to qualify you must fill out the application form lister under the "HANDOUTS" tab to your left, and attach a copy of your FALL semester grades. You must have attained a 3.5 GPA or above for that semester.  The application deadline is extended to February 15, 2014. This date is the final day to scan and e-mail them to the below e-mail address!

For a 3.5 GPA or above you will be listed on the website by name, team, school you attend and your GPA. You will receive a Certificate, a small gift and a Krush Scholar Athlete decal.

 For a 4.0 or above you will be listed on the website with a photo and a brief story about you. You will receive a Certificate, a small gift and a Krush Scholar Athlete decal.

Go to the "Handouts" tab to your left for the application form.

You may also print the application and complete it, then scan the application and your grades. E-mail them to krushsoftball@att.net

 KRUSH TRYOUTS ANNOUNCED

The Krush Organization is having tryouts for the 2014- 2015 season.  We will be having teams in every age group from 10 under to 18 Gold.

WHEN:            SATURDAY, August 16, 2014 & SUNDAY, August 17, 2014

                      10U, 12U and 16U Divisions

                      8am - Pitchers and Catchers

                      9am - All Players

                      14U and 18U/Gold Divisions

                      12pm - Pitchers and Catchers

                       1pm - All Players

All current or former Krush players are directed to NOT wear Krush uniforms and or clothing with the exception of equipment. The Krush Organization is trying to promote a less intimidating atmosphere for the young ladies. Thanks for your cooperation.

New Board Members Announced for 2014

Congratulations to our new board members and welcome to a a great youth sports organization. On Dec 2, 2013 at our monthly Krush Board meeting we had our annual elections for board members. The board has voted to expand to 11 members as our organization has grown. Some board members were voted to new positions and others returned to the board in the same capacity. We currently have one board position available and we are interested in a parent from the 10U or 12U teams. If you are interested please fill out the board member application to your upper right and contact current board President Denise Rich if you are interested. The listed board members will begin their positions as indicated on Jan 1, 2014.

Again we thank and appreciate all the volunteer board members who has served this past year and those that will into 2014.

KRUSH 18 GOLD GOES 5-0 AT

USA PREPS LAS VEGAS

USA PREPS -LAS VEGAS TOURNAMENT RESULTS

 The Krush 18 Gold - Uyeda team went 5-0 at the Las Vegas Preps Tournament this weekend January 11 & 12, 2014. Adri Martinez was one of the weekend standouts as she had a game winning double with two outs in the last inning with 2 RBIs for the walk off win against the Washington Explosion. She also threw out a runner at the plate from the outfield while on defense. She along with Jaylee Villarreal hit homeruns to beat the Grapettes on Sunday. Adri hit a solo and Jay hit a three run dinger, winning the game 10-7. Raven Deleon also hit well and scattered several RBIs throughout the weekend. Newcomer to the team, Katie Tablada was also a standout on defense with 2 assists at the plate. She threw out 2 runners from the outfield. There were other players who did great this weekend as many games were won with great team work. Great Job Ladies!!!

KRUSH SCHOLAR ATHLETE AWARDS - FALL 2013

On behalf of the Krush Board and coaches we would like to congratulate the below listed Krush Scholar Athlete(3.5-3.99 GPA) and *All Star Athlete (4.0 GPA) award winners. Along with working hard on the softball field you have all worked hard in the classroom. We encourage each and everyone of you to continue to work hard in the classroom which will be rewarding for you when you are ready to select a college to attend.

We would like to congratulate the 16 under team of Coach Schonbachler of whom had the most Scholar Athletes totaling 7. Great Job To Coach Uyeda's (18 Gold) team who had four All-Star Scholar Athletes with a 4.0  or above GPA each.

We know there are more out there who also worked hard but did not apply. You will have a chance to apply for this last Spring Semester. Award winners will be given their awards by their coaches.
