PRACTICE & GAME INFO:

All team schedules are posted on this site, just click on Game Schedules on the sidebar. Make sure you select the correct Division (Varsity, JV) and Team (All Teams or ANHS). Be prepared for some schedule changes as the season proceeds since something always comes up. 

ABSENCES: We all realize lacrosse is a spring sport, with a schedule from February through early May, including spring break. Freshman, sophomore, and junior players and their families, please plan vacations for off seasons: summer, fall, and winter. Players who are not fully committed to the practice and game schedule for the season will not be expected to participate.

Practice Schedule beginning second semester (1/9/17)

Monday - Friday

JV:  7:00pm - 8:30pm (field 7:30 - 8:30)

Varsity:  8:00pm - 9:30pm (field 8:30 - 9:30)

Players should arrive 15 minutes early and be ready to begin ON TIME. 

Coaches' Expectations

PRACTICE STANDARDS

Be on time. 15 minutes early is on time. Arriving “on time” or precisely at the start of practice is late.  Being fully ready before the start of practice or a game is expected.  

  1. Practice gear required:
    a) Helmet, gloves, elbow, chest pads
    b) Wolverine colors only
    c) Cleats and running shoes
    ** Lacking or improper gear equals disciplinary action. 

  2. Use positive comments only on the practice field. Profanity or negative comments will result in a team-running consequence. 

  3. Absence or tardiness must be cleared with your Coach before practice on any given day. All players have coaches email, and if they don’t, it is easily accessible on the lacrosse website. No excuses. 

  4. Varsity has a weekly practice and game attendance form to fill out online.  Players must complete this before 5PM Monday, weekly.

  5. Take pride in the Aliso Niguel School grounds. Jobs will be assigned for the entire team. All players are responsible for field set-up and cleanup. Failure to complete a field job assignment will result in conditioning, extra work on the field or suspension from practice. 

  6. Respect the rest of the school by helping protect all athletic fields. Please stay off the track when track is using it.

Remember:
Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol use.
Treat others like you would want to be treated.
Do your best in everything in life, not only lacrosse.
Do the right thing all the time.
