Welcome to the 2013 Spring Baseball and Softball Season! East County Little League is an all-volunteer organization serving Washougal/Camas-area youth. Please continue reading this page for detailed information.
HOW TO SIGN-UP
1) Determine Little League Age.
Boys and Girls who are "League Age" 4 through 14 can register for East CountyLittle League Baseball and Softball. A player's "League Age" is the age that the player will be on or before April 30, 2013, for Baseball and on or before December 31, 2012, for Softball. You must determine your child's Little League Age, not their current age, to register correctly.

All baseball and softball players registered for the Minor, Major and Junior divisions must tryout. In addition, players age 7 and 8 who would like to play up to the Minor divisions must attend a tryout. Players who do not participate in tryouts or submit a written request to miss tryouts are not eligible for all-stars (League Rule).
Each player spends about 5 minutes individually with an adult demonstrating their ability to catch, throw, hit and run. The purpose of tryouts is to let managers see the skills of each player so the teams are generally equal in playing ability. All players who tryout are drafted to teams.
Tryouts will be held for all divisions at Extra Innings (16303 NE 15th Street, Vancouver, WA, 98684) on the following dates:
Sunday, January 27, 2012 (10:00am-1:00pm) and Friday, February 1
Another weeknight will be chosen for makeup tryouts.
Please wear tennis shoes and bring a glove, bat and helmet, if you have one. Thanks to Extra Innings for donating use of their facilities to East County Little League.
8) Season Schedule
Practices start around the first of March for Major/Minor/Junior Baseball and Softball and the middle of March for Coach-Pitch and T-Ball. Regular season games are scheduled from early April through the middle of June.
9) Do you need a Scholarship?
East County Little League offers scholarships for families where our fee would present a hardship.
