RIVER BLUFF FALL SOCCER SIGN-UPS
Fall 2019 Season

If you are still interested in signing your child up, please follow the below steps ASAP. Space is limited.
PLACEMENT ON TEAMS IS A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS.
LATE REGISTRATIONS MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE DISTRICT.
Once teams are full, there will be no additional teams created unless a parent volunteers to coach the team.
All coaches are required to pass a background check and take a coaching course.
SIGN UP INFORMATION:
Step 1) You will need the following forms in order to register:

Step 4) ***NEW THIS YEAR*** Fill out & Sign Concussion Form
Download at: Concussion Form
Step 5) ***NEW THIS YEAR*** Fill out & Sign Parent Concussion Form
Download at: Parent Concussion Form
Step 6) Print out copy of one set of forms per child (Ensure forms are signed). Child will not be registered if forms are not signed.
Step 7) Prepare Full Registration Payment
Cost of Registration:
$100 (Under 6 - Under 12 Age Groups)
(Registration fee includes league fees, uniform, socks, basic photo package)
Accepted forms of payment:
Check: Made out to VYSL
Money Order
Cash
Non-payment or partial payment will prevent child from being placed on team
Step 8) You can either mail, email, or drop off the forms. Must include payment and copy of birth certificate
Mailing/Drop off Address: 6588 N. Bain Ave. Fresno Ca 93722 (this is a residence)
Place your forms, payment, and photo in the black box on the front porch (it is checked regularly).
CHECKS MUST BE MADE OUT TO: VYSL
1) Completed forms (be sure they are all signed)
2) Copy of Child's Birth Certificate (if they did not play in VYSL league in 2016)

How old does may child need to be sign up?
We have four types of teams.
Under 6's - Children born in 2013
Under 8's - Children born in 2011 & 2012
Under 10's - Children born in 2009 & 2010
Under 12's - Children born in 2007 & 2008
When does the season start and end?
Season is September – December
Where are the games?
The majority of the games will take place at Glacier Middle School and Harvest Elementary
(both located near Grantland & Shields).
Glacier Middle School: 4055 N Bryan Ave, Fresno, CA 93723
Harvest Elementary: 6514 W Gettysburg Ave, Fresno, CA 93723
When are practices?
Weekday evenings (exact days of the week are determined by coach of team).
Teams usually practice 2 times during the week.
Where are the practices?
The majority of the practices take place at River Bluff Elementary.
My child is inexperienced, can they still sign up?
This is a recreational league, not a competitive league. All players get 50% playing time. Many of the kids will have played before, but this is also the league for all players. New and experienced. Teams are created based on several factors.
Is this a school league?
This is not a school league, like other River Bluff sports.
It is run through Valley Youth Soccer League, but each school that has a coordinator participates.
What is the cost of registration?
$90 per child (5 years old - 11 years old)
$175 per child (12 years and older)
