Seals vs Seahorses Today!June 15, 2008
Father's Day Special! Any youth player who brings their Dad or Mom today can get their entire family in for only $4.00 each!
After a tough 2-1 loss yesterday against the San Fernando Valley Quakes, the Seals are up against the Southern California Seahorses today. The Seahorses are struggling this season. After six complete matches they are in ninth place with only 4 points from a 1-5-1 record. Friday evening they visited the San Jose Frogs who defeated them . The Seahorses record shows they can be tough, as power house LA Legends only managed one goal against them in a 1-1 draw played just two games back on the 31st of May. Only two teams have scored more than 2 goals against them this year. No one player has dominated their offense this season. Four different players have scored, and only one (Christian Rus) has two goals. For the Seals, today's game is a must win. A win will keep the Seals in a great position as we compete for the Conference Title going into next weekend when we travel south to meet the LA Legends and the Seahorses, our second double header weekend in a row. |
