EXCEPTION RULE
Each year's age will be determined by the player's age of 1 September of the year of tournaments. With the current exception rule, a league age 10 year old in the 3rd grade can play on the 9U/3rd grade team, a league age 11 year old in the 4th grade can play on the 10U/4th grade team, a league age 12 year old in the 5th grade can play on the 11U/5th grade team, a league age 13 year old in the 6th grade can play on the 12U/6th grade team, and so on. However, each team can only have 3 "exception" players. Every team qualifies for a state level tournament in April. The top 2 to 5 (Usually 3) finishers in the state qualify for a national tournament played anywhere from late June to early August.
