PROGRAM DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILTY
It is the Director's Responsibility to:
1. Read the handbook and understand all League and AAU rules.
2. Attend Coaches meetings and Director's meeting, or send a representative.
3. Coordinate activities of coaches and team parents that fall under your jurisdiction. Keep coaches and team parents informed of all League activites.
4. Establish an indentity for their program, such as, teaching fundalmentals of basketball.
5. Provide continuity to their program, ensuring all coaches are following the same basic teaching of fundalmentals. Review each coach's written goals and practice plans.
6. Provide leadership and direction to each coach. If a coach needs help establishing and/or implementing goals or practice palns, provide assistance.
7. Understand that he/she will be personally accountable for any expenses incurred without the League Treasurer's express permission.
8. Ensure League documents are submitted on time.
9. Ensure all coaches complete and submit Sworn Disclosures, No Nonsense Parent Forms, and Coaches Code of Conduct to the League on time.
10. Ensure activities within their jurisdiction run smoothly and organized.
11. Ensure all birth certificates, exception forms, rosters, etc., are correct and submitted to appriate Tournament officials in a timely manner.
