Minor League Football to Open Season

Minor League Spring football is fast approaching with Nikolaus Gonzalez (Team Owner) and the East Los Angeles Spartans returning to the field on January 10, 7 p.m. at Roosevelt High football field.

East L.A. Spartan Football will compete against several Southern California Minor League football teams. Their home field is located at Roosevelt High school is located in Boyle Heights.
Team Captain #77 Niko Gonzalez said “With a full coaching staff and superior staff behind the scenes, I have high expectations for our 2015 season. I feel our new head coach Ernie Navarro will put our team in a great position to have a successful season.
“With our new offensive coordinator Anthony “Bubba” Morales coaching, our offense should be one of the top offensive in the league, this season.
“As we get ready for what should be an elite year we invite you to join us every Saturday starting 10th for football entertainment at Roosevelt High School, kick–off at 7pm.Returning player #23 Rico Gonzalez said, “Last year was a learning experience but with new talent and a new group of coaches, we hope we can come together and have a great season.”Returning player Jesus Norona #55 said, "Having new coaches and organized staff, I look forward to successful season and heading to the Championship. As a player I want to improve all around and see my team performance improve as well. "
