Sunday, 5 January 2014 10:00 until 16:00 4910 Huntington Dr, El Sereno, 90032 We are taking it back to the early days of the Eastside Bike Club with this slow, mellow, family friendly Sunday morning ride to explore some of L.A.’s and San Gabriel Valley's diverse eateries. If you’re an experienced rider, cool! If you are new to riding, cool! For this month's ride, we are celebrating the 1 year anniversary of the SLOW ES COOL rides with an “ICONIC EASTSIDE” tour.

As with all our rides, meet up at the parklet in El Sereno and be ready to ride past, over, through, in, and to some cultural icons of the east side. Meet up at 10am, roll at 10:30. Our destination will be El Mercadito where we will make a stop for lunch. The Mercadito offers several different options for grabbing lunch. But you have been invited to join us at La Perla (the restaurant on the 3rd floor).

Points of interest along the route to and from El Mercadito are, the largest public hospital in the West Coast, an abandoned haunted hospital, a segregated cemetery, the historic First street corridor through Boyle Heights, a

New York themed neighborhood.
