The Eastsiders is a 87 min documentary that is a celebration of the African American Community known as The Eastsiders, in Los Angeles from 1920 thru 1965. The soundtrack of this movie was composed by William "Buddy" Collette and was the last major piece of work that Buddy wrote before he left us.

The story of The Eastsiders is told on camera by the people who lived it. This film documents the life of a community and presents the mutual help and cultural background of the African American Community during that time in Los Angeles, California.
