About Us
Neshaminy Little League has been in existence for over 50 years, staring out at where Hilltop AA now exists and moving to the fields of Neshaminy High School, committed to the youth of the Lower Bucks area comprised of parts of Langhorne, Lower Southampton, Trevose and Feasterville. The ideals which teach fair play, good sportsmanship, and the spirit of teamwork are strictly adhered to and taught. Join us in learning the national pastime with almost 300 players! It's for all boys and girls, ages five and up. Our clubhousse and fields are located behind Neshaminy High School, we have 5 fields, 2 batting cages and a snack stand. NLL is dedicated to providing children with the fundamentals of baseball and softball. They'll learn how to play and more it is just as imnportant enjoying time with their friends. The organizaiton is entirely run by volunteers (if you'd like to volunteer please send us an e-mail)
The baseball divisions of Little League have more than 150 participants in separate divistions.
T-Ball - all incoming players aged 5-7 (Girls & Boys)
CoachPitch - 1 year experience or 6-8 * (Girls & Boys)
Minors - players with at least 1 year experience ages 8-10 *
Majors - 10-12 *
Juniors - 13-14 *
Seniors - 15-18 *
Softball with over 100 girls divisions:
Minors - players with at least 1 year experience ages 7-10 *
Majors - 10-12 *
Juniors - 13-14 *
Seniors - 15-18 *
*tryout necessary which is run before the season begins
Season: The season starts out in late April and ends in the middle of June. T-Ball and CoachPitch will play in-house between other players, all games are held at Neshaminy fields behind Neshaminy High School (click on directions). The older age divisions will play with others under District 21 Little League (Croydon, Bristol, Morrisville, Levittown, Fairless Hills and Bensalem). Minors and Majors divisions will compete throughout the summer in tournaments that eventually lead to the Little League World Series as seen on TV!
Cost: $95 first child, $50 second child, all others FREE. Each family will receive raffle tickets to cover the cost of registration, sell tickets to re-coup the money!
$50 volunteer fee, each family is required to work 2 hours per child, participating in the snack stand, coaching, or assisting with field maintnenace will waive this fee.
Each family is also required to sell a box of candy per player (opt out for $35).
All costs pay for the uniforms and equipment for the league. We are non-profit, volunteer based organization.
Volunteering: The volunteer is an essential part of our organization. Any mom or dad can take part in their child’s athletic endeavors, AND give their time to the community. We rely on this in making our Little League program thrive.
Sign ups: NLL begins registration in January/February, dates/times will be on the website as well as on-line.
