Edward Van Overloop
Edward Van Overloop, father of Braves player and commissioner of A League of Our Own, Mark, passed away this past Good Friday. He was the founder and leader of C.A.R.E., New Jersey's largest alternative cancer care support group. Mr. Van Overloop, a frequent fixture of many League of Our Own games, was a cancer survivor himself.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 15 at 4PM at the Montvale Evangelical Free Church .
