Braves Fall to Reds 8-5
The Braves fell to the Reds falling victim to 5 unearned runs in the top of the 4th inning to the Reds which did not reliquish the lead. John Ross, Ron Clemente, and Marl Van Overloop lead the Braves with two hits each. John Ross collected the first ever Braves extra base hit. Rich Durso knocked in two runs on a signle and sac fly.
The Braves were crusing along until the 4th inning when 3 errors and two walks allowed the Reds to score five times. The Braves never recovered.
Braves pitchers combined for 7 Ks during the game.
