PANTHER FIELD & FACILITIES

While we are just two years from moving to a beautiful new, state of the art campus and ballpark in Loudoun County, Paul VI Baseball currently boasts one of the finest baseball facilities in the area. Panther Field is an exciting and professional environment to practice and play. Home crowds regularly fill the bleachers around the complex!

The Panther Field Baseball Complex includes:

  • Fully enclosed, lighted, Major League size field with seating for over 2500 fans.
  • Professional grounds maintenance by Game Day Inc.
  • Patriot Bermuda grass playing surface.
  • State of the art, underground irrigation and drainage system.
  • Major League quality batting practice “turtle” and array of professional screens.
  • 1600 square foot “clubhouse” facility directly behind home plate w/lockers, storage space and a coaches office.
  • Upgraded sound system for announcing and music.
  • Enlarged home dugout with benches, bat rack, helmet rack and adequate equipment space.
  • Two 90’ x 20’ artificial turf batting and pitching facilities.
  • Multiple hitting stations set up to accommodate 20 hitters at one time.
  • Our fully equipped Training Room, and Weight Room & Fitness Center are just a few hundred feet from the field.

A day game view of the Panthers in action at Nellis Stadium at Panther Field from the RF foul line. The playing surface is pro-quality and hundreds of fans regularly fill the bleachers behind home plate and in parts of the outfield, giving Paul VI Baseball one of the highest attendance rates in the area for high school baseball.

Panther Field is the only on-campus home field in the WCAC with lights!
Paul VI is one of only three schools in the conference able to host a night game at all. Day games are great, but not all fans can make a day game and nothing beats the thrill and excitement of a game under the lights!
Students fill the left field bleachers in the area known as "The Left Field Lounge."
