Say What?
Here is the initial update for the 2009 season from the SFNABA:
We are limiting participation to 20 teams for 2009. This will allow us to play more games on better fields and help decrease our dependence on San Francisco Rec and Park. It also allows a better balance of the schedule.
We are asking for player and manager participation in league Committees that will help the Executive Board oversee league operations. Below are descriptions of each committee. Please contact me ASAP (prez@sfnaba.com) if you would like to serve on a committee, even if you have previously expressed interest.
Here is the latest update:
We are looking for a 24th team! We currently have 23 teams secured for the season but need one more to even out the divisions. Please contact us ASAP if you have or can form a team!
I know this website isn't always as coherent as it should be, but the only response from these updates is what the f**k. Also wanted to put it out there that a few Diablos offered their services for the Scheduling Committee and were told it was full. Not to point fingers but it wasn't until July last year that the schedule was finalized. Hopefully with all the positions filled so early the regular season schedule can be completed before the playoffs begin. That is all.
