The Volusia Titans are a volunteer organization. Almost everything you see happening on and around the field is a result of the wonderful and committed team of volunteers willing to go that extra mile for our youth. The Titans, as with every organization, always need help from those willing to offer it. Nearly every year, we have openings in positions for football and cheer coaches, scholastics, chain crew, snack bar, and yes - even for board members. Below, you will find a list of our current openings. All positions are volunteer only, unless specifically stated in the post.

* Applicants may be required to complete a background check

* The Board of Directors will determine the length of time a position can remain open

* Ultimate decision on filling the positions will be by the Board of Directors

* An interview may be required as determined first by the Board of Directors 


 

Equipment Manager (Volunteer)

Open: January 30, 2014      Closes: 

* Work under the direction of the Operations Director and the Head Coach.

* Provide an equipment budget for the next season to the Director of Operations and the Head Coach. 

* Maintain the integrity of all football uniforms as required. 

* Be responsible for issuing necessary equipment and/or uniforms to all football players. (Assure the equipment fits properly and is in good working order.) 

* Periodically inspect all team equipment before, during, and after the season and correct any deficiencies.

* Be on-call throughout the season and off-season to support any equipment-related issues including repair, replacement, cleaning and general maintenance.  

* Coordinate equipment and uniform ordering with the coaches and board members. 

* Collect and process after season equipment returns. 

* Provide equipment return information to the Operations Director, and to the Treasurer to facilitate a timely and accurate return of equipment deposits. 

* Provide emergency equipment and supplies to coaches. 

* Maintain an accurate and updated inventory of all equipment. At season end, provide an updated inventory to the Operations Director.

* Perform other duties as defined by the Board of Directors or the Head Coach.
