UNION SOCCER LEAGUE
Purpose: The Union Soccer League is organized to support the development
of the sport of soccer for youths in Union Township. To this end, the USL organizes,
sponsors and administers teams, competitions, and programs to ensure the highest
possible levels of soccer competence, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of which it is capable.
Union Soccer League is a Smoke Free Environment. There is no smoking allowed
on or around the fields during game times.

available for download. (If you are having trouble downloading
this form, check your browser or PC firewall settings.)
Also, there is a box with blank forms available at the office.
INSTRUCTIONS: Complete the form, read the SAGE Pledge and sign the form. The completed form and payment can be mailed or dropped off to the address below: Union Soccer League

SOCCERFEST 2010 - SOCCERFEST 2010 - SOCCERFSET 2010
Please mark your calendar for next year and consider volunteering your time...
When : Saturday June 12, 2010 - 9:00 am until 6:00PM
Where : Rapkin and Conlon Fields
Rain Date : Saturday June 19, 2010
The Union Soccer League (USL) will present its annual “SoccerFest”, to be held on
Saturday - June 12th, 2010
The event will feature the recreation league championship games for the boys and girls junior
and senior divisions, followed by a coaches game. Trophies will be awarded for all divisions,
including Pee Wee, Kindersoccer and Grassroots.
Food and beverages will be available. Moon Walk, Snow cones....
Raffles will be held and sponser booths will be there.
Grass roots and Kinder soccer will receive their medals immediately following their session.
ESA will present them.
BJR, GJR, BSR and GSR 1st. and 2nd. Place teams will be given out at trophy presentation.
All other teams will pick up trophy’s and pictures at the corresponding table.
USL invites all area residents to join in supporting our players and celebrating the
success of the spring season, in which over 700 of our town’s children participated
in recreation or travel team play.
USL has offered youth soccer programs continuously since its founding in 1984.
The league is open to boys and girls who are residents of Union Township and are
between the ages of three and sixteen. Games are played on Saturdays on fields located
within Union Township.

Beginning with our Spring 2008 season, we are introducing sponsorships to our
REC and Inter-County teams. We are beginning a new program to raise
additional revenue to better serve our soccer league program in Union Township.
The attached form is for a business or individual to contribute to sponsor a
team within the Union Soccer League. We agreed to start with a
reasonable amount of $100.00. Your name will be printed across the front
of the Team's soccer jersey. In addition, a plaque will be given showing our appreciation
and your support for the great sport of Soccer in our community.
Also, your name or business will be added to a list of sponsors on our website
with your phone number, email and a link to your website should you have one.
This program will commence in the Spring Season of 2008. Please return any interest

All Recreation Teams are looking for Volunteer coaches for the
Fall 2009 season.
Please consider volunteering your time to coach your child's team or assist other volunteers coaches.

The USL is asking that you DO NOT bring your dogs to the Soccer Fields.
No dogs are allowed on any Union Soccer Field. Thank You for
your cooperation.

EUROPEAN SOCCER ACADEMY - SUMMER TRAINING

The European Soccer Academy Summer camps combine the pleasures of
playing the ‘beautiful game’ in a fun filled environment with an emphasis on
individual player development. Each player will be challenged to develop and
improve all the fundamentals of the ‘beautiful game’. Our camp curriculum
blends together proven training methods along with giving the players many
game situations to showcase their talents. This is an incredibly fun week for
both the players and the coaching staff.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Reminder: To all parents, coaches and players. Within the Union Soccer League
we practice the "Set a Good Example" program .
The S.A.G.E. SPORTSMANSHIP PLEDGE states :
I will not be loud or negative towards players, referees, coaches, or spectators.
I acknowledge that failing to show respect for people who are doing the best they can sets a bad
example for our children and can result in my expulsion from the field.
If you receive a RED Card you will not be allowed on the
field for a minimum of 1 Week.
